It's really easy to bribe foreign factions in Tropico 4. Either give them investment money, or export goods to them. Keeping the US and USSR is especially important since they send you aid money every year. However, local factions are a pain in the ass. Went heavy industry in my current mission, and the environmentalists hate me. Trying to do all they can to not get me re-elected. Jokes on them, though. I gave everyone a tax break while down in the polls and my el presidente rocketed way ahead. Guess I'll have to see to their demands now and attempt to be more eco friendly. Calling for a tax break took quite a bit of money out of my treasury.

Did the year already tick off on some guy's contracts? My starting RG/FS/ROLB all had at least another year to go on their contracts (2014) but now all of them show no money in 2014 and the "remaining" length on their contracts is down to 1.
Further, I resigned my RT to a 6 year deal this season, he shows a "remaining" number of 5 and no money where it should be at the end of the deal.
Has anyone noticed the same thing or am I seeing things?

I have this problem too with a number of players. A little nervous about my roster when FA hits.

This might be the first time in Madden I'll have a truly elite QB to use. Well, at least turn into one. He went from 78 to 84 with the manual upgrades I put in this season, and he has quick progression, so I'm hoping to get another decent boost. Don't get me wrong, Cutler is really good, but it looks like Myers stats are going to shoot through the roof (relatively to what I've had in the past). Myers won't be Andrew Luck cheesy good, but somewhere in between Cutler and Luck.
I guess I'll have no more excuses if I mess up in the passing game from here on out.

I noticed the same things for my team. Abraham, Julio, Clabo and a whole bunch of them at 1 year left. On the site they don't show up that way.
