you do know we can still scout after FA right? in other words, after the FA bidding period ends saturday morning you will have all saturday and all sunday to scout

I thought we were doing the FA process in a matter of hours before the games started. All day Saturday? I don't want to be glued to my xbox all day saturday... What about the people wanting to watch the playoffs? Are they fucked?
I'd rather start the FA process, but thats because ill miss the entire period on saturday

How long is FA period lasting? Just trying to determine a time on when it'll finish and scouting begins.
FA is being done in the morning on Saturday. Then you have all day saturday and sunday to scout.
I think we should start the initial bidding round of FA sometime tomorrow night, then finish it up on Saturday. Give the people who can't make it at least one chance to make bids.

i think people are confused on what's going to happen. so here it is:
1. i am going to advance to the RE-SIGNING PERIOD FOR YOUR OWN GUYS. this means the guys that are still on your team that you want a last shot at before they hit the FA bidding market. i will advance to this portion at some point tonight and will post when i do.
2. on saturday morning AT 9 AM PST, I WILL OPEN UP THE FREE AGENT BIDDING PERIOD. we will have an AIM room or something so that i can monitor when everyone is done and advance accordingly through the 4 or so "weeks" in game. if you have no interest in any free agent bidding then you don't need to show. this process will be done before the playoff games start at 1:30 pst
3. SCOUTING GOES AWAY TEMPORARILY AFTER I ADVANCE TO THE "re-sign your free agents!" PERIOD. BUT IT RETURNS DURING THE "FREE AGENT BIDDING" PERIOD, just as it did last season.
my only concern is that i will eventually have to advance to end free agent bidding period, at which point it will close off scouting again. normally this isn't an issue but if you want to know which FA's you signed before the draft then i obviously have to close free agent bidding on saturday

GG Smokey. Kind of having a hard time separating the two games right now and my head is swirling a bit at the moment. I did enough on offense to control the ball (won TOP by more than 5 minutes), grind out the game on the ground and score a few times, but my defense was what won the game for me. Managed to contain Foster to just 43 total yards from scrimmage and only 3.0 YPC on the ground, while 5 different players contributed to a total of 5 INTs (14 INTs total in the playoffs for my defense, not too shabby).
Feels good to get ring #3, although it's odd to be actually be playing another season afterward. This is the first time that's the case, the other two came in our final season of the franchise.
Time to celebrate!
