Vast majority of my posts are in sports threads (NFL / MMA / soccer / MLB) or sports game threads (maddengaf, ootp). I sprinkle in a post on the gaming side probably less than once a month.

I thought I was on the high side. That fucking Eznark guy is the worst....

I have to assume a good percentage of those posts, especially in recent years, are just from these threads. I used to post a decent amount in the NBA and NFL threads until they turned to shit.

I bet 95% of those posts were NFL and Madden

I think those saying he should have run the ball 3 times and kicked an FG are crazy. In that situation you have to play to win the game. The real killer was the offensive holding when Sanu got pushed out of bounds after making a catch that would have gotten them to the 26, that 43 yard FG is one Bryant makes with his eyes closed. A run play could have had an offensive holding call as well, so I don't really want to hear any shit.

What is really criminal are a few other issues the Falcons had. I don't understand rushing four for most of the second half. I don't understand burning the TOs early in the second half in the fucking super bowl (the challenge was definitely needed though). Literally letting James White run wild in every facet, how? They didn't even blitz, they should have at least been able to take him away! Just maddening in every way.

Sorry DCX.

They didn't need to challenge so hastily. Click was going down to 2 mins and they could've reviewed at the break if it was worth a challenge

This is some shit. You're better than this. All those porn conventions have twisted your mind.

That specific drive was some of the worst play calling ive ever seen. Its the kind of garbage id flame lil boss in twitch chat for.

weren't they at 6+ YPC? probably like 4 if you take out Freeman's bigger run, but still

and offensive holding on run just as likely? Wellie pls!

all that aside, I'm fine with a pass... if you don't take that sack! how?!

I know most of you guys are done with Madden for the year but are there any of you left that still want to play in a league? if so we have about 4 teams open in our season 3 offseason. Saints, Jets, Colts, Cards and Bucs. Feel free to hit me up on reddit.com/r/Madden_NGEL if you're interested guys.

Yeah you can't really pass there. MAYBE on 3rd but not before. You have to play the odds.

With that said, Matt ryan really blew the 2nd down read. Sanu was open for a quick pass that likely gets a first down and Ryan just kind of froze. I don't know if he panicked or just didn't see it.

I'm with Wellington. If Ryan doesn't take the sack and force them to keep passing it's totally fine. Ryan just remembered he sucked at the worst possible time.

The playcall being bad and Matt Ryan being bad arent mutually exclusive. It can be both!

On second and 11 there were 3:56 to go in the game. They called a deep pass from the shotgun despite the fact that their longest completion came on a pass to a running back underneath and everything else semi deep came off play action. The Pats had all 3 time outs but the Falcons were at about a 43 yard FG range. 997/1000 times a team in the Falcons position wins with that setup.

On their 3 previous drives to that one they punted twice and had the strip fumble. Ryan's one deep completion to Julio Jones (27 yards) did come on that drive, but it was not a smart throw and only complete because Julio is amazing.

So there are just under 4 minutes to go, it is 2nd and 11 and the Pats have all 3 time outs. You pretty much haven't been able to get a deep shot all game, and you choose that?

Now it is third and 23 at the New England 35, so a 52 yarder, probably not what you want but still possible. They throw a sideline out to Sanu for 9 yards but and up losing yards because of the penalty. Even if the penalty didn't happen they're right back to a 43 yard FG and they barely burned time and didn't force New England to use time outs.

They went backwards 23 yards and only took a minute off the clock,

Playing for the win or playing not to lose.

Falcons chose to play for the win and end up losing when playing not to lose was the correct choice.

I can't believe they didn't run more that 3 times in the second half. I can't believe they didn't run any screens. I mean even if you feel like you don't want to risk losing yard in a run situation, a screen will give you the same effects as a run ( time will run off, skill player in space )

The defense was based and the lack of depth showed. The secondary can only hold for so long and after Brady was comfortable in a clean pocket, it was over.

Freeman missed a block that led to the fumble. Ryan needed to get rid of the ball or eat the sack. Hell, intentional grounding that would have led to a punt would have been better than a fumble and a possession deep in our zone.

99.6% chance to win that game 28-3 mid third quarter. Will never get over this. We were 20 minutes away from being heroes. Legends.

So white folks can straight up walk into a police station masked up with AKs like they about to light it up,and can still be called sir huh

What a time

Alright so who the hell still has Siege? Rinse, Ferny, Drizz?

I played last night and let's just say, the people still playing can be totally ridiculous. I was getting shot at in places I couldn't even imagine, and I think to myself "This person must know the map really well" after watching kill cam, and I check profiles and see shit like level 180. People really know which windows to shoot at and fuck defenders/attackers up in places they can't see you.

I still have it and am always willing to jump in, haven't played it in months though.

Dont get me wrong, if it's me I squeeze the life out of the clock from 28-3 on. One of the most dominant run games in the league and three backs that can catch - If they stop run I am going to the flats all day.

I got way more progressively drunk as the game went on so the second half is a bit (a lot) blurry, did the Pats move away from the cover 2 zone they played for most of the first half?

I still have it. I should have about ~80K points saved up to unlock some of the season 2 operators.

Daughter has been pretty mellow this morning so I watched that Warcraft movie. It wasn't all that bad. ¯_(ツ)_/¯
Yeah, I enjoyed it as a fan. Can tell they gave a shit about the source material. Got butchered in the editing room though, probably needed another 30-60 minutes but that's way too long for most audiences.

I dont think he is even top 5 for heroes that should be nerfed at the moment.

Treant/Luna/Ember Spirit/Slark/Necro/Pudge all need the nerf stick real bad. Treant fucking far and away is the biggest cancer in the game right now. Id know, as a Treant spammer!

Slark ain't shit. Shadow Demon needs another nerf. And Lone Druid (-50 second spawn timer for a carry? WHAT?!). I agree with the rest of the list. Treant's stun is so dumb. Luna is OP, but not terribly OP like some of Icefrog's past creations (remember old Void?).

Ember outputs a lot of damage, but tends to lose games somehow.

Speaking of spawn timers... I played Undying the other day and he has -40s spawn timer at level 10 lol. It's instant respawn if you die. I thought I accidentally bought back or something.

Slark + Aghs is a pain in the ass to play against. Slark is already annoying enough as is, so its double bad.

SD is pretty broken still. I forgot about him. I was watching singsing SD solo an enemy carry Luna the other day. Ridiculous.

I think Treant is as bad as any of the previous ice frog OP heroes. Its just less obvious because he is played as a support/roamer rather than Carry like the Voids/Snipers/Insert OP Safe laner here.

Pudge would be my #2 hero to nerf after treant. He has an insane pick + win rate right now.
