Shaun was around 70, tatupu had three picks 2 for TDs, Jennings took one 103 yards, Morris had another 40-50 or so. I've NEVER had decent linebackers. Whatever, don't care for the 'Hawks in real life, but I live here in Seattle so I at least know the team. Should be a fun season. I think the division I'm in will end up pretty strong, since I'm the first guy to take a team in it, and considering who's left to pick!

Oh, and I wanted to bring something up that was brought up before by someone in the other thread. What's the final verdict on moving WRs and then snapping the ball before they are set? It's especially cheesy when the ball is snapped while they are running across the OL. The defense just does not know how to adjust to that and in certain situations, where the defender depends on the position of the WR, he gets caught in between defenders, so no one lines keeps up with him until he's like 8 yards out and by then, he has like 5 yards on the nearest defender.

I mean, when do you even see those things done in real life?

Why do I have this reputation? I know I'm decent, but I still really have to concentrate on going .500 in any given year -- I'm not among the class of the league like FMT, Wellie and Rors (sounds like Shawn belongs on the list too).

Anyhow, I guess I'm dooming myself to the same mistakes, but here goes... another offensively talented team with a cruddy defense.

I pick the Rams. I was going to pick one of the three NFC West teams, even though it means I have to play the hated Seahawks twice (perhaps I should rethink this... I remember how much seeing that ass Holmgren on the sidelines annoyed me last year.. especially when I was getting pasted). I guess of the three teams in the division, I like them most... and my chances with them most.

FMT has all ready said not to do this, so I'm pretty sure it's banned.

I'm also pretty sure I'm the only guy who's been called out for doing it, and I admit it's really cheap and stupid. I only did it in one or two games, because of my desperation to make the playoffs...

Are the WR's blocking or running routes? If it makes the routes impossible to defend then of course it should be banned. If they are just blocking I think that's fine, people do it all the time.

2) Both RBs are decent but their carry ratings are in the 70s. I had trouble with Jacobs that had a low 80s carry rating

3) The talent on the team is on the defensive side, and as I had said in a previous post here, I'm not interested in taking a team with strong D.

I can't believe that team lasted so long. Awesome offense, one of the best OLines in the game, probably the best DLine in the game, good LBs (If you learn how to use them) and Gibril the Thrill in the secondary. I think Ramirez is going to go 16-0 and win the super bowl.

So let's say I'm in 3 WR, 1TE 1 RB set. Slot receiver on the left. My opponent is in a Cover 2 zone. He's playing a 4-3 D with 2 LBs in the box pinched, safeties back, and the nickel on the slot receivers side. I send the slot WR in motion to the right, but his nickel doesn't follow because he's assigned the zone. You're telling me I can't snap when the WR clears the right side of the line, but before he's set on the right side? NFL teams do this ALL THE TIME. That's what audibling is all about. If I see a zone D or a man D, I need to adjust properly.

Now if you're arguing that we shouldn't be able to snap when WRs are right over a guard or center because it fucks up blocking, I agree. But snapping when a WR is still in motion outside the tackles should clearly be allowed.
