Mine has been acting up since the day I got it from MS (refurbished unit). Having a broken 360 is part of the norm for me now, though. I've had it away more than I've had it with me this year. Hopefully, this one holds out for the season, but I'm getting more lockups and disc errors than ever before. Thank jebus for games with the save anywhere feature. Should be mandatory on the 360.

Speaking of dying, is Xbox Live running properly again? It has been completely borked the last couple of days.
I managed to get to probably 2001-2004 (not sure when, and it didn't matter), with a launch PS1. Sure, it only played when the console was upside down, but it still kept chugging for YEARS.
And my launch PS2 is sitting at my Grandmother's house. Pretty sure it still works, just the DVD movies don't work all the time.

Well my wife missed the courier delivery truck by 4 minutes this afternoon (assuming the time on the door hanger thing he left was correct). I can pick my 360 up from their depot tomorrow after 11 in the morning. I might have some serious issues not calling in sick tomorrow. Serious issues.

Long week + broken 360s + holiday releases = slow start to season 2. I'm sure it'll pick up in early December until it absolutely tanks (and will probably have to be put on hold for the last week and a half of the year.

it's not going to tank. the league is on an extended week 1 schedule because the race was so tight. the advance date is on the front page.

I don't mind the long wait that much anymore, because of the realization that in the poll, the choice to start Thursday nearly won, and if it had..the league wouldn't have even started until tomorrow. I think interest is as high as it's ever been..we've just had bad luck in a few matchups and people haven't rushed as much knowing there's triple the time to play.

Is the league advancing today or tomorrow? It would be fabulous if it was today so I can get my game in with R0rs before I leave for the weekend and am forced to suffer through a glorified Alabama scrimmage (wanna go in my place, Lones?).
