Don't feel too bad. (though I haven't seen the score yet) The Jags are an INT gobbling team. I've got my work cut out for me when the week advances.

It might be a long season with the Niners. I'd hate to have them! If I were you I'd get FMT to teach you how to win with that roster (cut a deal wih the Devil!)

28-3. The game felt a lot closer than that though. It was 7-3 at the half and I was driving on the opening 2nd-half kick-off, but that's when Alex's tiny (but beautiful) hands struck! And I ran back a kick-off to his 20 yard line, which then was called back because of a chop block. And I might add that it was a beautiful (and apparently illegal) run back!

Oh well, COD4 and Mario will help ease the pain.

Yeah, it was 7-3 at halftime, and he held the ball for over 3 mins. into the 2nd half. Then around the 15-20 yard line Mike Peterson jumped his pass and I returned it for a TD. After that it just was downhill for him. But I was fortunate because he was ramming it down my throat until that play.

Garrard did pretty well -- I admit I do like him better than Leinart! His rushing TD was kind of cool. I sat behind my OL and little pressure, no place to throw, so I rushed up the middle with open space. :)

Feels good to actually have a decent OL now.

GG Air -- beat my division rivals, plz.

Also, can I get Grady Jackson added to my roster on the LeagueDaddy page? I found him on the More>Rosters page, but couldn't move him. Help?

Hey, garbage time TD's mean you're still in it, followed by a onside kick. It's the Big Zep rule, remember FMT. But if you want a forfeit, do what you wanna do.

And just go "clean your PM's Lone", and I will.

I don't think that warrants a forfeit. It didn't make the difference between winning and losing..and he did get a pick. But if you're up by 2 possessions worth of points with one play to go, you should probably just take a knee or run it if he's calling timeouts on knees.

The big zep rule = if someone tries a onside kick after scoring a td you try and follow up with a score even though you are up 20-7 and can run out the remaining 30 secs of the clock?


agreed that it doesn't sound like it affected the outcome, but it certainly is shitty.

it wasn't 20 seconds left, just under 2 minutes I believe.

The 20 seconds is when I hit the TO on 4th and whatever and he's on his own 2 (after I threw the deep and INT in the end zone, and he had 3 plays that he got sack on I think). Something I did heat of the moment and regret. I ran off the clock after that, and I do apologize for that.

Just admit what you did was unsportsmanlike and apologize. You had me beat. Once the onside kick was yours, there was no reason for you to lineup with Shotgun 4 receivers. And then, calling timeout with about 30 seconds to go when I was deep in my territory with the clock running.

No reason to take his win away.

League Rules said:
DO NOT run up the score on people. If you have a 20 point lead in the 4th, don't attempt to throw bombs to the endzone. This is just common courtesy. Please guys, if you are beating someone hardcore just be content with your win. I know everyone likes to brag about being the #1 rusher or passer or whatever, but it causes unnecessary problems and tension amongst league players. If you are clearly dominating a game, and the scoreboard shows it, just run the ball and be a courteous winner.

If you want to try and generate drama, try something else in another league. You want to be called out for being unsportsmanlike, try that garbage again with me next time we play.

If 13 points is bad, what about the 31, 25, 21 point losses? Did I try? Yeah, can't say that I didn't, I wanted a 20 point victory, cause that's what Billy Boy would do. And ESPN tells me I need to enjoy that.

Come on, Lonestar. Don't act like that. You're normally a good guy. What you did in the game is one thing, but the posts here aren't making you look good. If you're upset that FMT outed you, you're not really hurting him or anyone other than yourself with those posts.

No one should have to "adjust" to anything. Come on, we have a good league with a bunch of good players. I hope you're not insinuating you're going to take out your frustrations with Lonestar's behavior on other players that don't deserve it.

Phew I almost got embarassed again for my Week 1 game. After the first quarter I was down 14-0, and I gave up 31 points in one half. Screw overrated Reggie Bush and his 11 broken tackles.

I was able to eek out a victory on a last second field goal to win 41-38, but this goes to show what happens when you play cold turkey with a new team. I hope to have better D for you next time Slo! GG!!

More than a minute. And yeah, I've blown bigger leads than that before, in that time frame. Could have this time, as I did throw an INT, remember. What happens if you pick 6 that?

Honestly, this should have all been PM, and I wouldn't have to put up this douche front. But hey, it's the cards dealt.

Absolutely not. What I meant by "adjust" is I guess I have to ignore unsportsmanlike behavior in this league because it seems to be a trend of late.

I call BS. You had absolutely no reason to feel pressure with the ball, 1st and 10, at midfield. You could have run the ball and forced me to use timeouts. Instead, you lined up an empty backfield Shotgun and heaved it to the end zone. If you were honestly interested in preserving the win, you would have used a different strategy.

In my defense, Deuce is rated about the same, was not hurt in real life until halfway through the Madden season, and in theory is a better inside runner. I tried to alternate the two initially, but sadly, the light bulb never went off inside my head...

Shawn, since I'm such a nice guy I'm letting you know that you forgot to give one of your recievers a TD. You had 3 passing TDs on your team stats, and your QB had 3 passing TDs, but only 2 recieving TDs were recorded.

i unlocked week 2 cause some people wanted to get games in as they will be gone for the weekend
