Just lost a tough game to Ando 30-27....and to his credit he played a pretty straight game. With the exception on a pinch with a three man line one time (Which may have been on accident), he played a good game. Two picks on some WTF horrible throws (one for a pick-6) by Carr sealed my fate.

Just got home. Live is not really cooperating with me right now it seems. It just took like over 2 minutes to even sign into live.

Yeah I think Live is somewhat borked right now after todays dashboard update.

Everything moving super slow for me.

I should be home in about an hour. We'll see what's going on with Live then. It was working fine all day...I guess everyone got home and is downloading the update.

Also, I'm going out of town for a week for business (Puerto Rico :)), so can a mod open up the next week for me so I can get in my Week 7 game before I go? That is, if Ramirez is available to play tonight.

Ok I'll unlock W7 early, unofficially advancing it. I intended to re-lock it after their game but since the league is advancing tomorrow anyway I might as well just keep it open.

Is anyone able to log on to the EA servers? Maybe the dashboard update caused this, but when FMT and I try to create a game it says "You must be signed in to XBL and the EA Servers in order to access the online features of this title" Even though we're clearly logged into XBL. Sigh.

Welcome to my world! Raider fans have been experiencing this for a couple of weeks now. I thought it was just me, but it wasn't. Now it's everyone else's turn! :D

I can play doing the tricks I learned while troubleshooting it. It may be too much of a hassle for the rest of you, though.

Hey I have a question for the commishes...

Can I run a no huddle offense?

Not all game or even all quarter, maybe a drive or two, or a few plays even. It's simball, but I don't know how the league would take that.

Yeah, I'm 99.9% it's fine. As long as you aren't calling cheese plays, I see no reason why not. You're now able to save and edit your defensive audibles, so the defensive team should be able to switch to the right play, even if they were 'caught' in a bad zone or a blitz on the initial play.

No-huddle is fine if you're not doing it the whole game because you'd only be running like 6 plays all game and that would not be sim. ;b Doing it a few drives at a time should be fine because there is a possibility for disaster on the offense as much as there is on defense.
There are false starts (very likely in your shitty oline, Wellie :(), injuries, and tired players fumbling. The advantages are catching a d off guard and abusing their tired players (especially the line because DL get tired easier than OL and they are usually fatties!). Trade-off is about even.

hah thats nothing new. I would do that shit also. sometimes ill line up with a I-Formation single TE and see that the other guy is in a dime. ooookkkkk. ill audible to run and keep your ass on the field for being an idiot at the same time

i have no problems with no huddle. nor do i have any problems if you want to run 5 wides or 3 wides or 4 wides a good deal of the time. me and luke played a game where we both passed 95% of the time (out of 3/4/5 wide). it was fun but i'm too conservative in league play to do it normally :(
