Well lucky you'll never see me sucking in a pickup game then!

you better hope im not a fan of the opposing team and/or you dont live up to my expectations. because it would be my right to throw things at you! and dont you dare cuss at me you classless bastard

Absinthe, you take sides and fight them to the end even when you're completely wrong.

This is one of those instances.

Buying a ticket to a game doesn't entitle you to disrupt a game by throwing a bottle and more than it entitles you to go running down the middle of a football field with a game going on. They both interfere in the game you paid to see.

Breaking the law is NOT including in buying a ticket for a sporting event. I'm sure that guy was removed.

Not everyone threw bottles...why not?

It's not classless, remember, so shouldn't everyone resort to that?

You are flat-out WRONG.

WRONG.

Well, I don't think so. I think that people should be able to express their frustrations as paying customers. If I paid for something then I have the right to complain or show my disappointment. There would have to be certain rules implemented, of course. No glass, for example. Plastic is fine though. Also, the throwing would have to happen in the last minute of the game. Maybe two minutes.

John Green

On November 30, eleven days after the brawl, Green was banned from attending any events at venues owned by Palace Sports and Entertainment, owner of the Pistons. His season tickets were revoked.

b-b-but it was his right!

ok... I thought before you were just a bit off. but now I know you are insane. I can't make fun of a person with an illness. Sorry about that.

I would expect a mod to show some restraint and try not to lower himself by insinuating that a poster has a mental illness. That would be an example of classlessness in my book.

but I bought a season ticket

wow absithne reaches a new level of stupidity. Buying season tickets now apparently not only buys you the right to throw shit on the field of play, but it is also NOT classless to do so!
nope, not yet.

If I'm sitting courtside, I have the right to physically assault a ref that I think made a bad call at a game I spent my hard-earned money on.

The police also have the right to put me in jail for it.

What you are describing is the free will to decide to throw a bottle, not the actual right to throw a bottle.

No one has that right.

Your example is not the same thing. The mighty Kobe, for example, would not have received a broken arm from an overpriced plastic bottle. Especially since Jazz fans throw like girls. If I attacked a ref I would do bodily harm. It would be Salvator.

Fine. I can throw a bottle at the ref.

You were saying?

Give it up, Abs. You can't win this argument..

Hope the Lakers don't get too happy with themseleves and make it a close game with the Sonics tomorrow..

philly cheered AI the other night. and he left the 6ers cause they sucked, not cause his daughter had cancer

i dont know man. i always see eagle fans as a class of their own even if there is some crossover with 6ers fans. there must be something about philly alcohol and 20 degree weather that makes them go batshit insane

I didn't realize I was in some sort of contest. I'm just stating my opinion.

i think you can get by saying something stupid if your funny enough.

its a shame thats not the case for you

ok favorite bust time!

Mateen Cleaves at number 14 in the year 2000 by det..

I liked Cleaves he was a big game player in college and he looked like Barney Rubble

Ed O'Bannon at number 9 in 1995 by the Nets

I loved watching him and his brother play at UCLA I swore they would have at least avg nba careers.. but that didn't happen

i was linked to this youtube vid earlier. this is the greatest pass i've seen in an nba game:

Are you refering to the same fanbase that gave Allen Iverson a huge ovation?

I'm referring to the same fanbase that cheered when Irvin got injured.

And although there's crossover, I bet there's a number of Sixers fans who want nothing to do with the Eagles (like Zep).

think about it

he isn't as great as he could be... but he is far from a bust like

darko341.jpg

at least Bradley is the all time NBA block leader :lol

thats pushing it there...

Darko is still young. He's got another 5 years before anyone can really label him.

5 years, thats how much upside he has.

Michael Olowokandi

Dirk, Pierce, Bibby, Jamison, and Carter were all drafted under this guy. He was a number one pick.

yup yup.. but I kind of knew he was going to be a bust. Because it was like

"oh.. he's 7 feet tall... and well, that's about all we got"

mateen definitely #1.
but someone more recent.
morrison-mustache-lady

he went even higher. But if he becomes a decent backup he will have beaten out Mateen

also I am naming players I liked to watched and kind of thought might be ok or good.. it is easy to pick who sucked

Too premature to make a judgement on the guy, to be honest. We know he can't play defense for shit, but if he can come off the bench and score (like he is absolutely capable of doing) then he's really not a bust.

That shit happens all the time but for some reason people have eagles fans and Irvin stuck in their heads.

Eh, anything less than Larry Bird 2.0 will be a bust. It's like he modeled his appearance after Larry Bird and forgot to work on his game. That's inexcusable.

i remember the larry bird comparison around draft day.
too early to peg him as a bust? sure, why not.
from a larry bird comparison to a decent backup hopeful? current bust. absolutely.
