Trade Crosby, amirite?iDoubleSpy said:I'll say it again.
Crosby who?
Manics said:Tomorrow is the day I've been waiting for since Burke was announced as new GM. Finally the start of the new era, the trading deadline. Rest assured GAF hockey fans, I'll be "working from home" tomorrow, sitting on my couch wearing nothing but my Leaf boxers and giving my unbiased analysis of the trades tomorrow. I'll have cheesies in one hand, the occasional boner in the other. It's gonna be a fun fucking day. Get ready Leaf fans, it begins.![]()

On Sunday, an expectant 19,289 fans in the Pengrowth Saddledome, and a million more in outlying areas, celebrated as one as Iginla passed Theo Fleury's franchise record of 830 points by posting five points in Calgary's chaotic 8-6 loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning. Iginla now has 834 points in 922 career games with the Flames.
Tomorrow is kind of a make-or-break day as far as Havlat goes. I really hope the 'Hawks extend his deal(not at $6M per but a decent rate). I know they've had negotiations about it. If they aren't moving closer to an extension, I'm worried they might ship him out. If that's the case I highly doubt they're going to get even close to equal value for him. Havlat has been huge for the 'Hawks this year...Buba Big Guns said:I have a crush on Havlat.

And your "2nd team" is also Boston, so your opinion is invalid.iDoubleSpy said:I still shrug my shoulders every time his name is mentioned. Malkin is consistent every game, where Crosby is not. I just hope when his mangina heals he'll wake up and keep the team winning.
That was an entertaining game.Mii said:Figures that the one game I get to attend is one of the few lose at home. I think that was the biggest losing margin we've had at home too?
The guy next to me just wouldn't stop talking and smelled like poop.
After some bizarre penalties, we folded and just gave up. Stars showed up and played their game. Shame for Boucher, at least he showed up.
Shame the stars are in 11th. I think I'd enjoy a first round series with them. If we decide to show up that is.

Alucard said:LOL. Malkin was bad last night and is in the top 10 in the league in turnovers. I <3 them both, but they both have off nights, like any other player.
Manics said:If the Penguins had any balls whatsoever they would trade Cindy Fraudsby away today. It's painfully obvious they're a much better team without the fraud in the lineup. His stock is still ridiculously high around the league as many GMs are still duped by the NHL marketing machine billing this loser as the next one. I'm sure a team would willingly give up their farm system to get this cancer on their team. Penguins should make the move today, I would.

OTT Vermette to CBJ Leclaire
2nd round pick also to OTT
Dammit......was hoping the 'Hawks would have made a play for Vermette....Barrage said:Vermette to Blue Jackets for LecClaire
Manics said:The market has been set. A guy like Vermette goes for an injury prone goalie and a 2nd round pick. Moore should bring back at least that much.
