I'm bandwagoning the Glames if they get Jokinen.

And apparently Boston got Steve Montador. I think that's a good trade for them, he fits in well with that team.

I love this Montador for Nokelainen trade. Petteri kind of sucked and he's on the IR, sure he has upside but the Bruins have more then enough young centers at this point. Montador should be solid defensively and cheap, just don't know who's going to be sitting out now, Hunwick or Hnidy.

Offensively, I'm not sure if that's much of an upgrade over Satan.
Guerin has better "intangibles" and might have better chemistry of course.

I can dig it. Pens needed a veteran with some grit and miles on him, and Guerin fits the bill. Not sure how big of a cap hit he is, but I think he could fill the mentor role that Roberts did last season.

4th if the Pens make the playoffs.

Guerin is a UFA at the end of this season and the Pens just waived Satan who was at 3.5. So they can afford him until the end of the year easily.

Guerin for a conditional 5th rder. If pens make playoffs, its a 4th rounder, if they win a round in playoffs, 3rd rounder.

Nobody ruins my family vacation but me...and maybe the boy!
I think both the Guerin to the Pens and Recchi to the Bruins trades are good for their respective teams, both were cheap to get and both could make an impact right away.

So, what the heck happens to Satan now? IR? AHL? He cleared waivers.

The Montador trade was incredibly smart and gives them one of the deepest Defenses in the league.

THe Guerin trade is irrelevant because they traded nothing of note to get him and they won't make the playoffs anyway.

Good trade by the Pens.

TSN guys are saying that JayBo would be a good fit in Vancouver (either now or in the summer).
JayBo ain't going anywhere though (at least until summer). The Panthers are looking decent this year.
