This has been the best month for the Spurs during the last few seasons. Let's see with what can they come up this year.

I would love to see the Raptors make the playoffs. That would be so sweet to do it without "The Wizard of Oz".
I am now calling Vince Carter "The Wizard of Oz". He's a tin man - always injured and has no heart, he has no courage just like the Lion (I don't want to dunk anymore) and well I have no proof that he has a brain so..... :lol

I thought they had an outside chance for the 6th seed (which they still do considering how close it is), but after Rudy T left it was all but confirmed.

I was cheering on the Lakers even when the fat Magic came back, hell I spent 60 bucks to watch him in Cleveland.
The fair weather fans always abandon ship when things get dicey. That is why Konex is your problem next season. Make the most of it DM.

Who the hell wants a video of a team that makes a huge comeback to tie a game only to lose in OT? That's like searching for porn of your sister.

It was amazing! Kobe, Odom, Atkins, and Butler basically revived the Miller moments(and arguably better too) in the same place yet again. You don't see this every night folks. How could you not be cheering for them?
With Kobe becoming the next Jordan and Odom the next Pippen, all that's left is to get a real coach and a year or two to build some of the team chemistry. With better teamworks I see a bright future ahead of them.
And tonight game whose fault do you think it is? Kobe or Walton? I'm still doing an analysis on this.

Eh, I'm prety sure he'd have missed the shot anyways so I can't blame Luke. Kobe had 2 guys riushing him so he was right to pass. I just hope he keeps trusting his teammates...
I blame:
- the poor defense all game long. And w hy did they only switch Lamar to Thomas in the final minutes? How stupid...
- the lack of a real PG so Kobe and Lamar are playmaking (as well as racking up TOs)
- the lack of a competent big to get clutch rebouds. That tip-in by Thomas to tie in OT after 2 misses was huge. Too many 2nd chance pts in general
- Chucky putting Steph on the line for the go-ahead points. That was just awful...

Lakers outrebounded the Knicks 50-42 and in offensive rebounds too. So I don't think the lack of a big man is the problem in this game.
Anyway I blame the coach definitely. Why put Walton in that point of the game? There're better choices that's for sure. Like Mihm and Slava. They can hit open jumpers.
Though I also blame Walton. He's still inexperienced yeah but you don't pass with 2 seconds left. Especially when Kobe's not even opened. When it reached Kobe's only 1 second left. jeez.

Lakers always get rebounds but they never get the "timely" aka clutch ones. I have seen every game this year and it's cost them so many times. When the other team is going after a rebound hard, the Lakers "bigs" are just not physically able to compete...

IIRC the first try was a layup from a semi-fastbreak so the Knicks shouldn't need a third try to make that basket anyway. But yeah they weren't clutch in some ways(though they were also crazy clutch in all the 3 pointers). Nice game but a bad finish.
And bah for Grant. Put Mihm in! They need a real coach badly.

Padding your stats because you are a ballhog and being a baby when you don't get your way is now how you win games in the NBA. Kobe is a top 10 NBA player. He's just not a smart player and not a player with what it takes to singlehandedly lead his teams to the playoffs...
There isn't a single player out there who can lead his team to a championship but many have proven they can carry a squad on their backs to at least the first around. Kobe has mediocre talent around him, and keeps the ball out of his teams 2nd best player.... I seriously doubt Lakers even make the playoffs.
Has anyone seen Cloudy or an actual picture of him? Is he indeed black? How old is he? I'm still having a hard time believing it. The only people I've seen that are still Kobe fans are white and below the age of 17!

FYI, the game where he didn't shoot the ball was not in the playoffs. It was a regular season game against the Kings. Dude was criticized for shooting too much in the playoffs last year

Is he leading? when I watch the games I don't really see it... the greats, even if their team didn't like them, wanted them to have the ball. The Lakers don't really look like they want to pass it to Kobe... not that I have seen every game.....
The reason they lost last night was cos they were deferring to him too much in the end. There is no drama on this year's team and they all get along.
The problem is that a balanced team with drama will still win more ballgames than a happy team with no real PG or PF :lol
