The reason the Lakers are struggling is cos they have no offense or defense in the paint. Hell, Kandiman looked servicable tonight. I don't know how anyone can say Kobe is a "problem" for this team...
Certainly Kobe doesn't (and shouldn't) shoulder all the blame for this team's shortcomings; however, he most certainly IS a problem in terms of his decision-making at times and his domination of the rock. There's a reason that the Lakers haven't generated ANY sort of chemistry, even on offense, and it's not because "OMG everyone sucks except Kobe!"
