Not for nothing, but Kobe jacked up a LOT of wild shots this game. Not even towards the end-- with like 6 minutes left, down about 12, he was launching absurd threes; on one possession in particular he launched one from straight-away, missed, the ball made its way back to him on passes, and he jacked up the same exact shot (challenged both times) and missed again. Crazy. His shot selection left a lot to be desired tonight and it was reflected in his FG%.

I mean, 12 three-point attempts? I know they were down, but I felt like he "went for broke" way too early; his shot selection throughout the game wasn't so hot either-- I believe he missed 8 in a row before the 4th, then hit that one three, then missed his last 4 attempts, which were all threes.

I don't get it either. They pulled within 9 with 6 minutes left but they apparently didn't trust their "defense" to get stops. The coach should have reigned them in but he did nothing. What happened to the triangle today? o_O

Did anyone else witness the Heat blowing the doors off perennial powerhouse Milwaukee tonight? *shivers* The Heat are unstoppable this year. We can beat anyone. Look at the Bucks. That team is so explosive...so fearsome. That 30 point whooping was tame in comparison to what we're gonna do come playoff time. :D PEACE.

Just wondering, does anyone have that clip of Larry Hughes crossing some poor sap on Boston and finishing with a two-handed dunk? I always knew he was skilled, and this has been a career year for him, but I never knew he could cross a guy up like that. It was a picture-perfect killer-crossover, I could watch it over and over again and not get tired of it.

Edit: Even a torrent of the full game would do. What were those torrent sites with basketball stuff, again? I checked out purplefever.net's without any success.

That's ok. If we play like we're playing tonight, the Lakers might actually have a shot at it. We put in a bit of a half-assed effort tonight. But at least it's a close contest now. They had 13 on us earlier.

Dooling's been playing really well this season. He's pretty explosive. Maybe if he can work on that 3pt shot, we can trade Eddie Jones for a forward. Otherwise, I don't know if they can hold on to Dooling next season. PEACE.

Good to see the Knicks still playing with some respect for themselves... hey I was checking the recap on Yahoo but it didn't give me the final description, last things I saw were Wade getting the ball stolen from... then after that he made a defensive rebound with I think 13secs left, full timeout.... so who made the game winning shot for the Heat, him?

And am I reading correctly Shaq got 2 technicals and got booted? Details?

Looks like that wraps it up for LA this season. :(

Time for you to get a new team and a new hero Konex. There are plenty of flashy shooting guards for you to choose from. You got T-Mac, Lebron, Melo, Wade, etc. Hell, if you want I will ask Loki to send you some tapes and you can become a Jordaphile.

Just stay away from Kobe, something tells me that you cheering for LA might be bad for your health...

Bibby had an amazing full court and I mean full court(it was from one far corner of the court to near the offensive foul circle) pass to Peja in the first half.

And I don't know what Konex or Laker fans expect from a PG on this Lakers team. Kobe brings the ball up court, he does most of the ball handling, he initiates the offense, he's the playmaker, he's almost everything. What does that leave there to do for a PG? Just shoot and that is what Atkins does.

Wow, Chucky was especially bad tonight. None of his shots were even close. 0-8 shooting with his only point coming from a FT.
