Incognito said:Rockets better pray the Mavericks choke away the fifth-seed or they're going to be fucked in the first round.
DMczaf said:T. McGrady
10-18, 24 Pts
7 Rebs, 3 Assists
T-Mac needs to play with a bad hip more often.
Incognito said:Yep. Personal stats should always supersede team accomplishments -- *cough* 21-2 4th quarter run.

BatiGOOOOOOL said:Rockets fans, don't you think it was pretty stupid of Van Gundy to play T-Mac so many minutes after Friday's injury? The playoffs are so close and he should have taken better care of him.
Incognito said:And risk paltry personal stats??? HRMPH, NEVER!
Ninja Scooter said:damn AI sucks donkey shit out there.
Cloudy said:Yet the Sixers will still win cos LA keps turning it over and not boxing out![]()

DMczaf said:Looks like the Kobex Curse can not be used to help the Lakers.
Cloudy said:At this point the Lakers just need to play Sasha and try not to lose 19 straight >_<

The_Sorrow said:Lakers will be fine next year. You can bet your ass Lakers management is gonna go after some big players and a big name coach.
Cloudy said:Lakers don't need any big-name players. They have 2 and a developing one in Butler. Malone and Payton were big names and we all know how that worked out.. What the team needs is some hard-nosed players who know and accept their freakin' roles!!!!
They score more than enough points while lacking PG play, rebounding and defense....

well it will be hard for any pg to control the flow with Kobe dribbling in the corner every half set play for 15 secs
1 (3) Suns 52-17 Suns play 10 of their final 13 games at home. Of course, as good as they are on the road -- leading the league at 29-8 -- maybe that closing sked helps San Antonio more than Phoenix.
2 (1) Heat 53-18 Sorry. Don't care how impressive Heat looked winning at Suns' pace. Lose to Charlotte the next night and you forfeit the top spot.
3 (4) Spurs 52-18 Pop thinks Duncan will make an appearance during the final five games of the regular season. Dare we say, even without him until the playoffs, Spurs hang on to a top-two seed.
4 (5) SuperSonics 48-21 As hot as Nuggets are, look at Sonics' division lead. It's still nearly 10 games, in spite of stubborn Seattle's recent pockets of turmoil.
5 (8) Rockets 42-28 After cooling off Heat, all Rockets needed to finally seize No. 5 out West was a win over Duncan-less Spurs. Instead Houston joined Atlanta and Charlotte as the only teams to lose to SA with Duncan out.
6 (2) Pistons 43-26 Why is a Lakers comparison is so apt for these switch-flipping Pistons? One Detroit observer we trust says the champs' problem is arrogance against lesser teams. Just like the old Lakers.
7 (7) Mavericks 46-23 Winner of the Dallas-Sacto season series has lost the teams' last three playoff matchups. So maybe Mavs (3-1 this season) would prefer seeing Houston in Round 1.
8 (10) Nuggets 38-30 The committee didn't believe it when some of our Nuggets pals said they were gunning for the seventh seed out West. But take a look: Denver is closer to No. 7 than No. 9.
9 (16) Bulls 37-31 Winning five in a row at this point -- three on the road -- is as impressive as anything these Bulls have achieved. So it's almost time, for the first time since '98, to print up playoff tickets.
10 (6) Celtics 38-32 This might be an omen. The same week word leaks out that Celts want to add some black to their unis next season, they drop three straight and anger their coach with their cockiness.
11 (11) Wizards 38-30 Looks like they got the right Jordan this time. Eddie likely won't win Coach of the Year, but he has Wiz off to a 2-2 start on a crucial five-game trip ... without the injured Jamison.
12 (12) Kings 43-28 Our money's on Philly for the big Monday night showdown. Can't see Webber losing both games to his old team.
13 (9) Grizzlies 39-29 Team record for road wins in a season is 19. But after crashing at home to Hornets, it'll be tough for Grizz to win three more roadies, given their rough remaining schedule.
14 (13) Pacers 35-34 How good a coaching job has Carlisle done? Pacers' projected starting lineup of Tinsley, Miller, Jackson, Foster and O'Neal has combined to played zero games together.
15 (14) Timberwolves 37-34 The good news? Wolves apparently haven't quit. The bad news? They probably waited too long to find a groove.
Kobe has a decent supporting cast
I think we should trade Butler too. I have some hope for Odom, but I think Butler will never realize his potential.
Cloudy said:The reason he has the ball so much now is cos he's the only ball-handler on the team that can run the offense. Luke can run it too but he has zero handles. Kobe has said himself that he prefers to play on the wings but what can they do if they have no one to initiate the offense?
I mean, the two alleged PGs on the team combined for 0 assists and 6 turnovers on 5-18 shooting yesterday (in 48 minutes)!!! *faints*
he has always done that... it is the biggest flaw in his game.
Cloudy said:Cos when Harper and Shaw left, he was the only one Phil trusted to run the tri. Has he played with a true PG ever since? (Besides GP who couldn't run the tri either) Now that they have no post player, you gotta have a PG who can create in the halfcourt and lead the break. Chucky cannot initiate anything in a set offense and he simply refuses to give it up on the break....
PS: The biggest flaw in Kobe's game is not respecting non-stars and thue leaving them open to roam and help. He only plays D on stars >_<
Cloudy said:Fisher is not a true PG either. He's more of a shooter and Phil had Kobe run the offense in crunchtime while he camped at the 3pt arc. At least he tried on defend though (unlike Chucky)
The Lakers NEED to make a run at Earl Watson....
Cloudy said:Like I posted earlier, he's said so himself. Do you think he likes being 3rd in turnovers per game (AI and Wade)? If you've watched them this year, Kobe is most effective catching the ball in the post. The coaches know it but need him to get other guys going by running the offense..
