I'm getting a lot of disconnections playing worldwide or regional, bloody annoying. Had a 4p race going and 2 dropped out after the first race, stuck with it and in the next one the other guy bailed.

Added Smiles and Advance. Still waiting on Harker and Mejilan.

The record that appears to other players is your worldwide/regional record, I believe.

It's a feature in the game. If you follow a players slipstream, you'll get less wind resistance. Do it long enough, you'll get a huge speed boost.

After a lot of play on Rainbow Road...I'm not quite sure I like it. It's awesome, it's fast, but it's not really Rainbow Road. The BTTF theme ripoff is now something you'd hear from an anime kiryogi would watch, and the track is way too forgiving.

On the upside, it's awesome fucking people over with banana peels on the turbo boosts. :lol

Anyone know how it determines wins and losses? It seems like for me its only counting the wins. Right now I'm 40-17, but I'm 32-5 in my last 37 matches and I know for a fact that I've lost more races than 5. Does it only count as a loss if you don't finish in the top 2 or something? I'm pretty confused.

rainbow road on special cup is buggy... I was in first place on 150cc and got hit with a shell,stayed on course while flipping but then my car floated straight up into the air and the lifter guy came and put me back on course in 8th place.

That's not a bug. :lol

If you get hit on the loop, it reads as you being off the track on any cc.

if you played four player matches it breaks down like this
1st place gets 3 wins
2nd place gets 2 wins and 1 loss
3rd place gets 1 win and 2 losses
4th place gets 3 losses

almost defeated Pez yesterday he got lucky and I got screwed with 4 blue shells in 3 of the races managed to win the last one. in the first 3 I was under control of the whole race through the first 2 laps then at the last lap like always someone managed to get a blue shell and I was fucked porno style.

Agreed, Nintendo hasn't nailed a Rainbow Road that can compare to the original SMK version yet.
