I really hope I make the playoffs and play Konex in the first round. I want to exact my revenge!

Winning % and SOS are really the only 2 stats we need to look at...
Also, anyone who doesn't finish the season shouldn't be in the postseason
Lonestar said:Konex, I was talking about the "Overall Ranking" at the bottom of the home page, the thing that takes into account all the weighted stats...which I think FMT screwed up!!! mmlemay's 7.42 is the lowest score on there.
Overall Rank
1 #29 Tigers 7.42
2 #1 Buckeyes 7.87
3 #19 Hurricanes 8.58
4 #31 Golden Bears 8.97
5 #9 Crimson Tide 9.55
6 #10 Sooners 9.94
7 #24 Yellow Jackets 10.23
8 #6 Wolverines 10.23
9 #17 Trojans 11.13
10 #3 Seminoles 11.94
mmlemay said:I think it's more to do with my team having pretty good stats and being towards the top of the list in many categories. This just shows that I have the capability of being an elite team, but I just didn't follow through with it on the field. 4 out of my 5 losses were by one score, and two of those were decided on last-minute field goals. I played pretty good offense and defense but I just couldn't put it together this year.
NEXT YEAR!!!
FrenchMovieTheme said:guys please don't pay attention to that "overall rank" stat column. i cannot take it off. i did not pick those top teams in that category. it is picked based off of numerical values for various stats (all of which are set to 1.0 right now), so please pay no attention.
Ninja Scooter said:anyone heard from Ramirez? I gotta get our game done? And if WSV isn't playing anymore i may need a sub.
ColdBlooded33 said:Seriously, Just to add, Team Used, and Strength of schedule should factor in as well. This can even hurt me because i dont know what my SOS looks like.
Seriously if stats were just taken into account, Timmy Chang would have won the Heisman
But i do have nice rushing stats

If your rankings aren't close to that, you suck at ranking
Azwethinkweiz said:ok well I'm out. I just lost the biggest bullshit game to some fill in for nebraska. Players dropping passes for the hell of it, a player fumbling right after he caught a pass, my qb fumbling as his arm was clearly moving forward (where the **** are challenges online?). The best part was that the only lag in the game was when I was on offense and in the red zone. And it was really really really bad lag.
Oh, and are line shifts still illegal? I dunno if everyone agreed they were ok while I was gone.
DaddyZ said:Whoa there hoss:
I never line spread against you...I might have LB + left analog left/right/down but never up. But yes, the lag was really bad in spots but also was good when it wanted to.

FrenchMovieTheme said:i've gotten more than a few rankings that have left ohio st off. come on guys. i know no one likes shawnhann's gloating, but please base your rankings off of record/performance, and not character. bottom line is there is NO WAY there will be a top 8 without ohio state. if you want to put ohio state @ #8 fine. but i don't know how anyone can justify not having ohio state somewhere in there.
p.s. as i detailed extensively, line SPREADING is illegal (i even detailed how to do it). however, line SHIFTING is perfectly legal.
How am i ranked behind you? CONTROVERSY!
Shawnwhann said:Hey FMT please don't campaign on my behalf, if people do not want me in the top 8 I will not complain about it. I made my bed, and now I will rest in it. Let the voting dictate the top 8!!! Since we can't include ourselves, here is my top 8:
#1 Crimson Tide 9-1
#2 Golden Bears 8-2
#3 Trojans 8-1
#4 Hurricanes 8-2
#5 Yellow Jackets 8-2
#6 Sooners 8-2
#7 Wolverines 7-3
#8 Auburn 5-5

#6 Wolverines - 7-3-0

ianswoody said:Ugh, sorry guys. I'm posting from my friend's computer. Since I'm moving later this week, my roommate shut off our cable/internet prematurely, so I was unable to play all of the games I needed to tonight. In other words, I'm probably out of the playoff hunt. (Not that I probably wasn't already! :lol ) But it's been a fun league, and don't worry, I'll have my shop set-up before Madden!
Ninja Scooter said:n/m my PM, FMT, i didn't know we couldn't vote for ourselves. Here's my rankings:
