Yikes.

Just putting that out there!

How you don't pull Edwards in that game i am still amazed by. Just par for the course for the Bills franchise. Please move to Toronto to end my misery; of course they probably win the SB the first year to spite Buffalo fans.

LJ11 said:Edwards played a horrible game, no excuses, but JP isn't the answer at this point. We can't keep going back to the same old QB carousel. We win or lose with him for the rest of the season, and evaluate at the end of the season.
I think it's growing pains more than anything, some of the playcalling/coaching is questionable as well. It's too early to pull the plug on this kid, he just had one of those games, every young QB has one. I just don't like the offensive scheme, too much spread, not enough run (until tonight anyway).
iyox said:JP is not the answer but if you don't trust your starting QB to throw a forward pass you pull his ass. The fact is the Browns secondary has been suspect all season long, JP could have had a big game. Trent didn't complete a single pas to Evans. He needed to be pulled. If it was the other way around it would have happened. Trent is getting a free ride based up on easy schedule at the beginning of the season; He is not an NFLQB. JP's, Johnson's and Bledsoe's numbers were never that bad and fans were always calling for blood in those cases. At this point pulling him is the only viable solution. He is not confident and certainly not fit to lead this team.
LJ11 said:You're entitled to that opinion, I disagree. Yeah, he was hesitant, missed throws, and second guessed windows, but the Browns played a lot of Quarters. They dropped 4 deep, kept 4 underneath, rushed 3 (occasionally 4). They gave us the run tonight.
Edwards was brutal, awful, horrible etc, but our redzone playcalling was just as bad. We had them setup for a playaction in the red twice, and we don't call one, we never call one. Twice we made trips into the redzone, primarily because of our run game, and we don't take advantage with PA pass.
I'll live with Edwards a bit longer, we'll see how he bounces back next week.
Yeah those two easy interceptions were huge for keeping you guys in the game.iyox said:Every other player on the team executed until the end. Lindell obviously blew a kick but 3 TOs by Trent cost us the game.
Stole the Packers playbook from last week.Artie said:I still don't understand the playcalling! You just got a clutch pass, and you run three conservative plays, and for what? To kick a long field goal into the wind?

Joey Porter is getting into trash-talk mode, and for the first time in a while, the game actually matters.
On the eve of the Miami Dolphins game against the New England Patriots, the linebacker said that there's no love lost between the teams.
"We don't like them," Porter said, according to The Associated Press. "They don't like us."
"How much better would the New England Patriots' record be if Brady hadn't been lost for the season? Maybe it wouldn't be."
:lol I loved how his face just stayed like that for the full 5 seconds they shot him after the missed kick.Nore said:Ugh. I was at last night's game. Horrible.

And if the season ended today would James Harrison win Defensive MVP (as he should)?
I think Harrison is playing at a higher level than Porter and the Steelers defense is better than the Dolphins and their offense is worse (not to mention our putrid special teams). Hell it seems half of our opponents drives start in Pitt territory after our booming 20 yard punts or some shit INT. But the Steelers defense stills shuts people down.Darkman M said:As of right now
