In the GAF procrastinator's league? Yeah, Toomer and Mason aren't exactly 100% starts. You're still favored next week vs. Meier though, so you have a shot - the #6 team is going to be 4-5-1.
Well I did beat Meier in the 1st week but it didn't count. :/

pfft. you just can't handle me.

Normally, i'd be at home watching this game.. but just from looking at the box score.. I don't think it's worth it to go home and watch it.

Yeah, between that and rounded scoring, controversy is endless.

Surf the wire, gotta be somebody you can use out there. Meier can't have taken every waiver wire guy yet. :lol

I was doing the same shit, but its hard for me to find consistent WR's.

Edit: Crap! I just realize I picked Bufflo. What a way to end my shitting pickem.

Shit I just realized that every favorite won this week except for the Pats.
...and the Eagles. :D

...and possibly the Bills.

Just when you think you have the NFL figured out, it throws you one right down the middle after 10 straight knuckle balls.

That's why you have to start gambling. Drop your second TE. Pick up and start Thigpen (who is way better than your current QBs lately.) Cut down to 2 or 3 RBs. In a 3 WR league you need to have better WR depth and it's at the point of the season where you need to basically bet on 3-4 guys that could be total crap, every week until you find the guy that's good. Even if they sit on your bench.

Just a thought though. I probably shouldn't be giving too much advice in my position. ;)

I never understand why in a three WR league a lot of times people draft up to 4 RBs in the first ten rounds. I learned from my mistakes from prior years and I've amassed a pretty sick RB corps. Drafted Boldin, AJ, Nate Burleson, Vincent Jackson, and Muhsin Muhammad late. Traded for Braylon Edwards who has done fuck all for me.

Schonert woke up. You can't line up 3rd and 3 empty gun, or 1 back gun sets, and expect the defense to be fooled, we're telegraphing the plays. We run under center, and pass in the gun. The staff is complaining about 8 man coverages but it's a combination of playcalls/formations and lack of run game (someone lend us a Center). As soon as we ran out of the gun, we opened up some lanes.

Edwards needs to take the checkdown, fuck the downfield pass, go with what got you the job. Throw to the open man, even if it's for 4 yards.

Yeah, I sorta did the same thing with Wayne and Boldin, though it meant I had to gamble on getting a QB late. It's actually really interesting to see how taking the flex spot out can hurt competitive balance across positions - in a 2/2/flex league there's pretty big demand across all positions, whereas in 3/2 the WRs get picked to the bone whereas you can recover from a RB injury really easily.

EDIT: Does Quinn even see Winslow on the field?

I've been calling for Jerome Harrison for the entire game. Every football fan in Cleveland knows Jamal has lost a step, yet he still gets the vast majority of the carries. Harrison comes in and gets chunks of yards, so of course he sits on the bench for most of the game
