TB @ ATL - Keep making me proud, ATL.
SF @ MIA - I haven't seen as much Wildcat in the highlights. That makes me sad.
SEA @ STL - No matter which team wins, both teams will lose.
BUF @ NYJ - Damn do the Bills suck.
SD @ KC - I keep betting for SD, and I don't know why.
WAS @ CIN - Washington will win by 2 points.
TEN @ HOU - Can't bet against Titans two weeks in a row.
GB @ JAC - I'm unwilling to even call it an upset at this point.
DET @ IND - UPSET SPECIAL
MIN @ ARI - In Peterson we trust.
PIT @ BAL - See Steel Nation? I may slightly hate you right now, but I keep saying your team will win.
DEN @ CAR - The South needs to start, you know, losing.
NE @ OAK - AINT NO HOOFS ON THAT BITCH
NYG @ DAL - Dallas single-handedly kept the Giants and Redskins in the playoff picture last year, time for them to return the favor. Just figure out which Romo will show up.
Mon, Dec. 15
CLE @ PHI - Reid still sucks.

EDIT: Putting bolds around my MIA pick, since it hadn't been highlighted yet.

what why? the eagles need to win out and can not afford to lose to the browns.

hopefully we see kolb this week in relief duty...meaning the eagles are up by 3 TDs in the 2nd half.

I think that's just wishful thinking on his part...probably has to face them in fantasy playoffs (which sucks for him :lol)

Moved from the end of the last thread:
Steelers have lost at M&T 5 years straight and they just barely won at home week 4 in Flacco's 4th game ever.

I'm sure Flacco will get pounded by your boy Harrison a few times, but I think Ravens take this one.

Think I may revise my Carolina pick, every bandwagon the pundits decide to jump on seems to get a broken axle.

I respond with NFC South: 24-2 at home (although Denver was one of the teams to beat an NFC South team at home and that passing attack combined with the way our secondary got manhandled yesterday scares the shit out of me. Trap game indeed.)!

This game has warning signs for the Eagles written all over it. The Browns are done for the season and are on their 3rd qb PLUS the Eagles need to win to stay alive.

With a non-Reid team I would say that the Eagles should win the game by 30 points, but since Reid is coaching I can safely forecast that the game is going to come down to the wire and a crucial 4th and 1 late in the 4th quarter.

Sadly, as insane as it sounds, I think the Eagles are going to continue their trend of losing the games they need against horrible teams and find a way to lose this one.

There's just no way I can see the Eagles drop this game. I mean, Cleveland had their KR take snaps at QB! I don't think the Browns have enough firepower, especially on the road, to win that game.

Trust me, we will win and it will be decisive.

you read my mind. im scared about this game. the team is really feeling good about themselves (i dont blame them) but its reid im concerned about. the past two games they have run more than passed.

i get the feeling reid will be upset he has not been able to call a game to his liking and now he will go back to airing it out. i hope to god no. i hope they run every single back they have if they want to rest westbrook. run booker. run buck. run eckel. run klecko. run mcnabb.

but if the cowboys and falcons lose on sunday and then the eagles lose on monday, reid needs to be fired on the spot.

What do the Lions and Packers have in common?

They're both under .500 and not going to the playoffs!

Do you post on extremeskins? I swear I saw a post just like that there. Not saying its not true, cause it is, just didn't think I'd see the exact same thing here. Anyways there is definitely trouble in redskins land.

No. But I'm a mod at another skins site. I'll PM you the link.

I find it funny how all the fans loved it when Zorn was talking shit about how Fred Davis can't comprehend his shitty passing offense. Now... Thats the HC talking bad about a rookie, the fans loved his openness in contrast to Gibbs.

So now it's an issue when CP does the same thing his HC does? I find that to be a double standard.

I agree that it sounds insane, but not if you have watched the Eagles over the last 3 years.

I forsee a lot of people calling the Steelers/Ravens game the worst of the season. If the defenses don't score, I won't be surprised if the score is 0-0 at the start of the 4th quarter.

In the end I think James Harrison is going to win us yet another game and still get no serious mention for MVP.

Alan Page and Lawrence Taylor may need to make room in their exclusive club. In a season in which no offensive player is running away with the MVP, Steelers linebacker James Harrison could join the duo as the only defensive players to win the league's coveted award.

...

The league's MVP award typically goes to an offensive player because of their ability to generate ridiculous numbers weekly, but Harrison's eye-popping stat line has thrust him squarely into contention. Playing in defensive coordinator Dick LeBeau's aggressive 3-4, Harrison has become a force off the edge. Possessing an explosive first step and surprising power, he dominates offensive tackles on the way to punishing the quarterback. Harrison has 23 sacks in the past two seasons, and only three other rushers have exceeded that total in the same span (DeMarcus Ware, Jared Allen and Mario Williams).

More impressive, he has a league-high 14 forced fumbles the past two seasons, having mastered the art of the "strip" that was made famous by the last defensive player to win the MVP award (Lawrence Taylor in 1986).

...

With a host of title contenders seeking to prove that defense wins championships, this may be the year that defense also wins the league MVP award.

I want to pick Denver, and I probably should but I have absolutely zero confidence in their defense.

And you're just like the overzealous Cowboys fans of old: overconfident and make outlandish statements.

Don't see why one's team playing great football makes their fans turn into huge doucebags.

You, like several others in the past, are completely mistaken. I only have complete confidence in the Steelers' defense, our offense is complete shit, comparable to the worst in the league. And that ain't going to change unless Dick Lebeau is given complete control of the offense and I see Casey Hampton running patterns down field.

Did I ever call your defense bad? No. All I said is that, like last week, you expected to crush the Cowboys ... it didn't happen. Your defense came out and you won a close game, but it was hardly the kind of "decisive" victory you predicted last week.

So in short, don't be overconfident: we all know the Steelers are a great team, and will go for into the playoffs. Didn't appreciate the need to attack my team when I did nothing to attack yours.

HarSon is like French Movie Theme except, since his team is actually good, people take notice.

FMT is more of a joke character, anyway. Plus I can't hate on him too badly because he's basically my doppelgänger in terms of interests :lol
