KC defense is playing too soft :( I get why we played Oakland like that with Moss... But come on. We're giving up anything the Broncos want in the 10 yard range. If the KC defense isn't going to get aggressive they might as well jump on the plane at halftime.

AND JESUS FUCKING CHRIST RUN TO THE RIGHT ONCE IN A WHILE SINCE WE DON'T HAVE ROAF #)*&%&)*$

Mccleon shouldn't be starting.. for the second week in a row he's giving like a 8-12 yard cushion pre-snap.. :lol which makes a 7-8 yard completion a freebie. They should run right some to switch out, but does it matter when a backup Guard is playing RT?.. probably not unless you put Jason Dunn over there as TE and he's hurt (and it's obvious what's going to happen). We are just screwed for now :\

I hate watching this shit.. bootleg, reverse, backdoor screen.. our whole D bites every year. God, call them off Gun

Looks like this is one of the 4 or 5 games a year where Plummer doesn't look like a retard.
Plummer's success is pretty dependant on the playcalling. If he's asked to go downfield he'll suck, but if they let him work the short yardage stuff, make the occasional run, and hand it off >50% of the time he'll do just fine.

After the Pats cut Lawyer Milloy (and then were beat badly by the Bills in week 1) 2 years go, Tom Jackson came on the air and said about the Patriots "They Hate their coach" (later admitting he didn't talk to anyone on the team and really had no basis for saying it). This pissed Belichek off quite a bit, to the point where he held a grudge against anyone who worked for ESPN. Anyway, after the Super Bowl that year, or jsut before it, i can't remember exactly, Jackson went up to Belichek and tried to act all cheery and apologize and Belichek quite simply told him to "Go fuck himself".

:lol :lol :lol I never liked Tom Jackson, so this is very amusing to me.

Anyway, I feel really bad for Pennington and the Jets. Outside of injuries, the guy's been amazing. He just seemed poised to have some great victories in his career. Very mentally tough and a great couple seasons. Now to see that in jeopardy really sucks. The comparison to Jeff Garcia is valid but though Garcia was good, I never seen the same bright future as I did for Pennington. That is tough to get a QB like him for your franchise. I hope they have a good season and he comes back far improved next year. :(

Oh, and on this Denver crushing KC, I could just feel it coming before the game. Right after the Jake Plummer soundbyte and realizing how predictable this weekend was. Knew everyone's wouldn't wrap up as cleanly and expected as some would have hoped.

WEll atleast this hit to my pick em's is a flat out blow out...Unlike my other three losses in which I just "KNEW" I had fucking won....

Can't wati to watch NFL Live tommorow, when they will no doubt consider the Chiefs' defense among the worst in the leauge, despite to fine performances.

I would wait until next year before proclaiming his career to be over. He is going to have a year to recover now. Of course if his shoulder is still fucked up next year he is pretty much done as a starter, though he might not be a bad backup or a good choice to groom the next qb for the Jets.

Regardless it was an honor and privilege to watch him lose those 2 games this year.

Rumors floating that Pennington's career may be over over at SA.

Yup, wouldnt surprise me. Way to much Wear and Tear on that arm already. I cant see how he could have too much when he comes back.

Jesus christ, the NFL live crew is just all sorts of optimistic this year. Opening with talks of how no QB in memory has come back from two shoulder surgeries on his throwing arm, now Wingo said something about how he thought Rodney Harrison looked like he was thinking it was the end of his career.

Let's try and hold the speculation on what careers are over for at least 36 hours after the injuries, how bout it guys?

Harrison tore his ACL, MCL, and PCL (never even heard of that ligament). It will be pretty amazing if he comes back and can still play at a high level. Hope he does (for another team of course).

Sounds like McGahee, except McGahee didn't completely tear his PCL, it was only a partial tear. McGahee was only 21 when it happened though, Harrison is up there in age as far as recovery goes.

This one hurts. I would say this was entirely unexpected but then I wouldn't really be a Jets fan if I believed that. Not after '99 when Vinny tore his Achilles in the very 1st game of the season (this after making the AFC title game the year prior). *Sigh* So it goes.
