holy shit John Clayton just reported that Carolina blizted Brady 41 times. Damn, I knew we blitzed the Pats a lot, but not that much!

edit: Witherspoon is out for the Miami game and, to my surprise, 5th round draft pick Adam Seward will start in his place (over a proven starter/back-up Chris Draft). Must be impressing the coaches!

Good. Put a team in LA already so we can stop hearing about it all the time. Oh yeah, and leave my Vikings alone. LA has already stolen so much from this state. :(

On Inside the NFL they showed a clip of some d-lineman talking about how they figured out Bradys silent snap count. He would point, then tap the center then the center would put his head up and snap.

I am surprised they blitzed 41 times and got away with it. Usually a good to great qb (like Big Ben) will make you pay when you blitz. I guess that just confirms that Brady is nothing but a fraud (not to mention child molester and terrorist) who got lucky by attaching himself to a great coach, great defense, and great kicker.

:lol Watching NFL countdown, their were discussing the Packers, and as soon as Michael Irvin mentions Brett Farve is past his prime, you would think he was talking bad about someones mamma. Steve Young Goes Huge on the defencive and how he has 3 or 4 more years in him. I can see how anyone can think that, he has looked terrible. At least one of them gets it.

When Young said 3 or 4 more years for farve, Irvin had a look of shock in his face like are you watching the same thing i am? That was classic :lol

I think the Giants are going to lose too, but it won't be because of run D. The D-Line is geared to stop the run, and our LBs are shit against the pass but real good on the run. Coughlin won't ever complain about outside factors, he's way too fuckin hardnosed about the game.

One thing I hate about Coughlin and his staff is the SHITTY offensive playcalling. Up until the end of the game on Monday they were passing 2 out of every 3 downs. Why, when up 14-0, would you pass so much with Eli as your QB and Tiki as your RB?

Well it's still too early for me to be assured that the Giants run defense is solid top to bottom even though the unit's shown a ton of improvement. My concern about Tomlinson is also about him catching passes out of the back field. As the papers have pointed time and again he has 0 catches and he's hungry for more touches.

I agree with you about the play calling on offense. In both Giant games this year the team's made 2 or 3 great passing drives but once the other team makes adjustments the Giants don't match it and then sputter along. Running the ball more suits their offensive line personnel better. That would also allow Eli to use his deep ball on play action passes to expose a cheating defense and let them set up more screen passes to Tiki, something they are surprisingly good at.

FMT:
oh thats right, the 49ers have nothing to be angry about from last week.

I was really talking about fear, not anger. Parcell's always plays the intimidation game with his teams and puts in their minds that if they fail he will make them feel it all week long. As his resume shows it's a great motivator.

Both teams have every reason to be angery about their losses last week, though for different reasons obviously. I just don't see how the 49er's can do much about it on the offensive side of the ball. Their best receiver from last year is on the IR, Barlow stinks (why did they purge their roster 2 years ago only to give him a big extension?), and Rattay is a mediocre QB.

Bucs D forces a turnover, Bucs O drives down the field for the TD. Did I step into a timemachine and go back to 2002?!

HELL of a TD pass by Favre...and on a 4th and 5 at that, that thing was textbook perfect, and then the miss the extra point...

Man, Bear D is looking good upfront, but the secondary is having trouble. 10-0 Bengals, Mike Brown barely missed the INT though -_-

Looks like the Vikings are back on track, Falcons looking pretty good so far, i hope McGahee runs all over them for Fantasy purposes :)

Looks like the bears offense is back to normal =(

Yeah. I don't know why Orton is throwing 30 yards downfield on 3rd and 5 though. Get the first down, move the chains.

Having said this, Bears defense is shutting down the Bengals offense. Unfortunately the Bengals D has 3 ints and this is the difference so far and why they are leading 10-0.
