Official NFL Week 4 Thread - Buccin' Amazin'!

The Packers need to rebuild their defense before they think about the offense, imo. If they have the first pick I would trade down somewhere lower in the top 10 and try to get an extra 2nd or two 3rd round picks to help rebuild.

Most of their defensive draft picks have been pretty awful thusfar. Ahmad Carroll? :( They need DBs in a serious way, the line and linebackers are servicable but if they can just pick us apart through the air all day long, a good front seven does nothing. I'd prefer that they trade Davenport (though I think he's an FA this year) or Green and get a solid defensive veteran from a team weak in the backfield to start with defense, and maybe pick up a second rounder or two. They need another stud on the O-line, and maybe another good receiver. The backfield is good but getting old. Offensively we'll be a joke once Favre retires, so yeah, they should focus on the D for a while, but if they're in the top 5 (haha, and from the looks of it, we'll get the second pick behind Houston, barring a few nice Houston games), I'd like them to take the best player on the board.

And then purge pretty much the entire front office and coaching staff. Fuck.

Kiwi or Super Mario if they have a pick from 5-10 would be great picks.

Um, my backs are Shaun Alexander (1st rounder, auto play), Julius Jones (2nd rounder, auto play concerning how much Parcells gets the ball to him), Cadillac Williams (5th rounder, flex) and Stephen Davis (waiver wire pickup, flex) and no matter what I have to go with the better back for the flex, and through the first 3 weeks that was Caddy. Next week, with Caddy likely to be limited with the hamstring, the nod is definately going to Davis.
 
I'm still pissed that the Panthers apparently can't put games away and also haven't put Favre on his back more than once >:/
 
if you motherfuckers blow this and subject us to hearing about Brett Favre and how magical he is for the rest of the week i swear to god, panther fans...

Yes Madden we understand that Farve throws the ball quickly, it is because he is retarded and doesn't think before he throws it!
 
If the fucking D-coordinator isn't fired after this season I WILL start a damn riot. The only way to lose a 19-pt lead is to play conservative defense, and that's exactly what happened. Damint I am so tired of having to watch this team play well for 3 quarters and then choke the game away. Argh.
 
Woo! I dont like to see the panthers win, but i like to see the packers lose more!
 
Tale of two games...Panthers thoroughly handled the Packers through 3, but the Packers just assraped the Panthers in the 4th. I still want this D-coordinator fired though. His conservative ass shit is the reason we always give up big plays...damn soft zone coverages.

I'm glad to see teh old man still has something left. Age is age, yeah, but 4 TDs and 1 INT against the Panthers aint a bad game at all. If only Driver had caught that ball, though, to be fair, his receivers bailed him out on more than one occasion with simply sick catches.
 
IMO it looked like the Panther DT on the far side of the screen jumped on the last play which caused the quick throw. Should have been an offsides penalty.

Great game though, I am glad I stayed up. And no TDs for Steve Smith. :D
 
Also: First win in the last 7 games where the Panthers won a 3-pt game. Lost the previous 6. Shouldn't have been a fucking 3 pt game, should've been a 3 TD blowout, but a win's a win.
