Thomas could go either way. He is still a great goalie and can be an asset to many teams. People forget he still put up decent numbers this year and was banged up. The contract is going to have to be eaten most likely by a large amount. I could certainly see him riding the bench as well.

All I know is it sounds like the B's are banking on getting Hall in the draft.

Looking good for Henrik Sedin to get the hart trophy. Crosby should definitely not get it since he so damn overrated.

backstrom > Criesby

Hello friend. It was awesome seeing him score 2 goals at the only game I went to during the season.

What sad human being would ever need to pit Swedish girls against South Americans? Why can't we just harmonize about the fact that they are wonderful creatures?

I sense hot World Cup chicks in this thread. From now on, this thread will be dedicated towards NHL-age having its own place to discuss the World Cup and its sexy ladies.

Oh and Nabby must go.

Psst apparently Marleau recently bought a home in the Los Gatos area. Probably suggests what he's thinking.

Gotta publicly thank whytemyke. He sent me all these Chicago newspapers relating to the 'Hawks Cup win in the mail.

Wildcard berths that can't beat teams without a winning record should have homefield advantage

So like today's my birthday, and one of the gifts I got was a Flyers hockey puck. A bit puzzling that someone would give a goalie a puck (and if my memory isn't hazy, this is actually some curse isn't it? Uh-oh, lol)... If it was from Pronger I would've accepted it with more open arms.

What I didn't accept with open arms was what my brother gave me as a gift besides some money, a Patrick Kane hockey card. Ugh.

Maybe it's the puck from Game 1 or Game 2 that Pronger stole :lol

This poster pulses with an appeal so broad the typical restraints of our societies fall by the wayside.

These trading Savard and others rumors are starting to piss me off.
This could be a wild week. If Savard was actually traded I would be blown away. As for Tim Thomas, it seems like he's willing to move, and San Jose, Tampa and maybe even Philly are looking to take him.

Nice grab, the papers (at least the few places I went to) were hard to come by the next day.

I want Taylor Hall. If we get anything less I will consider this next season a failure.
