I thought the same thing except it was during my NHL 10 marathon today.Slurmer said:I watched Lakers-Celtics game 7 and all I could think about was how much I miss hockey.
I can't pretend to be a Celtics fan, as I really don't care for basketball, but it was pretty painful to watch them shit the bed in the 4th. It was truly Bruins-esque. And it's now two years since Boston's last championship and the suffering is palpable.Slurmer said:I watched Lakers-Celtics game 7 and all I could think about was how much I miss hockey.
Close, but no.vatstep said:I can't pretend to be a Celtics fan, as I really don't care for basketball, but it was pretty painful to watch them shit the bed in the 4th. It was truly Bruins-esque. And it's now two years since Boston's last championship and the suffering is palpable.
not really
Also, the greatest hockey movie of all-time is on TV and I'm watching it: Mighty Ducks 2. Now THIS makes me miss hockey.
This. Might Ducks 1 is better than 2 as well.KingHenrik30 said:Slapshot, then Youngblood but by a slim margin

All the more reason to not put it ahead of D1.Slurmer said:but MD2 has Kenan.
Yeah, but it also gave us the knuckle puck. Unacceptable.KingHenrik30 said:d2 gave us the classic "2 minutes? Well worth it" though
Yup. Never met a single person who liked that pile of crap. D2 definitely suffers from "sequelitis" with all of the dumb/goofy shit they threw in (even for a mid-90's Disney movie), but I just think it's more memorable than the first.Takao said:No one likes D3. This is a confirmed fact in my circle.
I don't like it either but I'll watch it if nothing else is on. :lolTakao said:No one likes D3. This is a confirmed fact in my circle.

KingHenrik mentioned it about 10 posts ago. ;)
But yes, Youngblood is awesome too. And sef, I've seen MVP like 5 times. :lol

I had the VHS a long time ago but I can never remember much about it or what it was called. Loved it when I was 5. :lol

Retrocide said:How many times have the Flyers traded with the Nashville Predators? It seems like it happens every offseason. I swear we've traded their own draft picks back to them at least once.
Socreges said:so much for hamhuis going to the canucks. i'm pretty sure he would have signed here had he gone to free agency.
Sure, but of course the Flyers wouldn't have done this unless they'd planned on freeing up cap space in the first place.Slurmer said:Flyers have to free up some space if they want to sign him. So there's still a chance I suppose..
In all likelihood though, Coburn is gone and Hamhuis will be signed.

Cold-Steel, I'm thinking Volchenkov will end up being too expensive.
gutter_trash said:when do tickets for 2010/11 go up for sale?
my buddy has tickets to go down to Philly to see the Eagles in November, I am thinking of getting Flyers tickets if they are playing on that Saturday
Nashville's 1st in '07 went back and forth. Went to Philly for Forsberg then back in the Hartnell/Timonen deal. They've traded at least once a year for the last 5 seasons I think though.Retrocide said:How many times have the Flyers traded with the Nashville Predators? It seems like it happens every offseason. Apparently the Blues were looking at TT before Halak, but I don't know what changed or swayed them away.
