Official poster for the Uncharted Movie

Which one supposed to be Nathan Drake? :messenger_grinning_sweat:
Theres a reason why Mark is all the way in the background

Really bad casting there.
Tom Holland has no similarity with Natham Drake. Neither looks, nor charisma.
And Mark Walberg as Scully is even worse.

Non of these characters fit, at all. Looks like they went for the "Just pick famous people" approach, another fail from Neil Drunkman. I have no idea why he flocked to this project.

Tom Holland for this has to be the worst casting decision ever. Regardless of what ability he has, just his look and everything pulls you right out of the frame. Will probably still see it like.

I don't judge movies based on casting alone, a good director is more important but this is going to suck just because of the faces.

If opening act doesn't deliver a shock start portraying his acting chops this movie will painfully average.

StLet's get this movie out of the way, Uncharted 5 is on schedule and Xbox gamers better look out the uncharted franchise was really clutch for Sony the last two generations.

Google says Holland is 5'8. There is no way he's that. I'd say 5'6. In just about every photo he's in he's the shortest person, even shorter than most of the women. Ya, they might be wearing high heels but take them off and 5'6 looks about right.

lol

I always found so jarring to see the Spider Man from the Holland's movies being so much taller than Peter Parker without the suit

You can clearly see that they make him taller with CGI when wearing the suit. So awkward.

They both look like they got told there was free cake in front of the camera and now they're confused that they can't find it.

I was looking at the Director's (Ruben Fleischer) movies, and damn... I'm definitely not confident about it anymore. It seems Venom and Zombieland are his best works.

Jesus Christ they couldn't even get Sully's tacky awful "I'm a hip old man" shirt style right for the poster? That would at least add some color to this dreary abortion of a poster.

This think is DOA.

Little spindly Holland, drake was never spindly. Also Holland looks like a kid, so in the scene where Sully invites him back to his house all I can think is "stranger danger".

Its definately not the games but its its own thang and here's hoping but lets face it, its got evereything stacked against it, we all expect it to bomb hard whereas im hoping we get a fun action packed indy'ish modern take on Uncharted that starts a whole series off

This entire trash fire of a movie only exists to provide a vehicle for Tom Holland. At no point have they genuinely decided to make this for Uncharted fans, or because Uncharted is a popular gaming IP. It's being treated like dogshit just to sell Sony's favourite tiny man.

Tom holland is not the best actor, it just feels like hes doing an impression, like any random person could do.

Isn't Drake supposed to be like 40 or something in the first game? Whose idea was it to cast a 25 year old actor?

Doesn't matter if the guy gives the best performance of his career. I just won't be able to take him seriously he looks like he belongs in the equivalent of "The Young Nathan Drake Chronicles".

I'm not sure if that movie helps Holland in any way except his bank account.

I really love Tom Holland but I must admit that Mark Wahlberg would been definitely better fitted as Nathan Drake role physically, what a pity and missed opportunity :(
