OFFICIAL: Starfield and Redfall delayed to 2023

Bad News Stink GIF by Baby Cow

Last game they released was Halo Infinite 5 months ago. MS's 2022 is dead. We should get Forza Motorsport this year but other than that...

Modern Warfare 2.

That is not a MS game nor do they have anything to do with it.

People really have to stop give MS free credit for everything.

Anyway yeah so MS has no games all year. That's crazy. The media gives Sony shit for the simplest thing and not MS's extremely poor game output. Ridiculous.

That was a joke. Even if the deal goes through before release, MW2 obviously isn't a Microsoft game. It still might help move XSS christmas sales tho.

Can't wait for the usuals spam the same monologues of "you guys just wait" posts they posted this year when they keep showing absolutelly nothing.

Shame, but hardly a surprise given we still don't know what the fucking game even is.

God of War next.

Unbelievable, they dangled that carrot in front of people to get those subs promising AAA games day one and the console will be more than two years old with very little to show in that department.

Xbox fans were hyping this game so much that I knew it wasn't gonna go right.

Surely if it's that bad to dub it "The next Cyberpunk" then a few extra months can't be doing all that many favours for it?

We will see, I remain cautiously optimistic, either way it's a winning scenario, we either get a great game or more Bugthesda memes.

This current "release full game day and date" model really needs to go.
They started it trying to imitate cinema/movie hype cycles but it won't work as well with games. Its about time big publishers start looking into effective soft launch models like early access.

Since we are talking about Bethesda it must have been pretty bad. I know their games are usually very buggy at launch but they were always somewhat playable.

It's good that they delayed it then. Hopefully they can break the streak of releasing buggy games.
