Wow, Eureka 21 was the best ep in the series since ep12. A+++ all the way with incredible direction and top-notch writing. Mechanical designs were really good too

I wonder if any show will be able to get near Eureka in quality in the next 6 months.

I thought 12 was kinda disapointing especially after episode 11. The whole Zone experience/mindfuck wasn't executed as well as it could have, it just felt off :/ Though I have to say 13 was damn good, so it's not a huge deal

shit, got my ep order off. Yeah I meant ep13 the one with the 4 on the ground. I'd actually put the ep1 season in the order of ep13>1>2>11>12>all the rest.

Hmmm, Gun x Sword 11 was a pretty good build-up ep for hopefully the start of the main arc. Might have almost the entire set of OP shadows filled in next ep

LOL, that is just horrible casting right there. I like Yuri Lowenthal as a voice actor but he doesn't fit Renton at all. His voice would work pretty well for Sasuke though in Naruto.

Gun x Sword ep13...the show has failed.

At the end of arc 1 there can be no more excuses, GxS is sloppy. The directing in the eps is terrible with awful timing of cutting between talking and action, they screw up every potential there is for mainting a 'flow'. And the story and dialogue writing is pretty weak. The worldview and main plot/characters are interesting but the execution of the show is just so poor it's a real shame. And since they fucked up ep13 which was supposed to be the big mid-point important ep I really doubt the show will ever pick up and I'd bet even the ending will have bad pacing, direction, and generally be un-sastisfying.

I'm pretty disappointed with Goro here, he really fucked up

Gun X Sword is such a huge dissapointment. I mean it's entertaining at a basic level but it's not what I wanted to see from Goro. Just

On the other hand, a show that started out rocky but quickly became a favorite after it's intent was made clearly evident, Sousei no Aquarion. Talk about blowing your load on the finale, Kawamori saved the best for last Fantastic ending, absolutely awesome final battle and the trademark Aquarion cheesiness we all love (or hate )....nothing more to say as I'm still digesting it and plan to rewatch it several more times, and I hope for a continuation as hinted, wether another series or OVA. And good god Yoko Kanno how does she do it again and again. Use of music throughout the show has been spectacular and of the highlights (if not THE). The second Aquarion OST is absolutely godly and has been on constant replay the past few days. And that chogokin Aquarion is mighty tempting if it wasnt for that steep price tag

Yeah, pretty much.

The next major arc which focus' on Kurapica is pretty good (ova 1). But it really jumps the shark when they go to Greed Island (ova 2).

Yep, that's exactly when I started wondering if I should stop watching. DEFINITELY stop at the end of OVA1, OVA2 is an insult to anyone's intelligence.
