Strategeries:

Bush: Lie often, lie big, like the last 7 months

Kerry: No major screwups, no more phrases like 'Global Test'

This one even we swedes can follow. =)

It's on in 35 minutes in sweden (channel 4) and 45 in the ussa.

I can't wait to see how Bush handles the town hall format.

Unrelated:
I watched the Clinton/Bush debate on CPSAN the other day, and damn, Clinton is one of the best public speakers I've ever heard.

Kerry bashing from Bush, we've seen this all before. Looks like Cheney's arguement is getting through to Bush.

Kerry is for the Patriot Act but against the way it's applied? What? Isn't that inherently being against a part of the law itself?

Kerry did a much better job of answering the flip-flop issue than he ever has before up to this point.

Bush did a decent, albeit very familiar job of rebutting.

Bush seems like he's talking down or lecturing to a child. I wonder if that'll hurt him.

FINALLY, Bush acknowledges, once and for all, that there are conclusively no WMDs in Iraq.

Notice how he lost his train of thought immediately after though? I wonder if that just popped out. :)

You kind like the 'spirit' of the law but not like the 'letter' of the law. Two different things.

Did that referee or whatever just say that he wasn't allowed to do a rebuttal but just said "go ahead"?

woah this is intense, much better than the first debate.

Yeah. Much more interesting.

The audience was drugged though I think. Either that or the ones asking the questions so far were retarted to some capacity.

GAWD Bush just seems so socially awkward and uncomfortable in his own skin. He seems like the guy in the crowd that starts talking, desperately trying to make his point, and everyone around him begins looking at each other like "get a load of this nut".

For all the times I may have bashed slickster politicians, watching Bush muppet his way around any kind of legitimate debate makes me Lewinski-esque in my lust for Clinton et al.

Jesus Christ, Bush sounds like such a little bratty kid. I mean, he just made a very good argument just now, but the manner in which he is communicating it is SOOOOOOOOOOO bad.

See, he just did it again. It sounds like he's fighting with his older sister over who can use the bathroom.

I guess what Kerry means about the patriot act is that he'd apply it only towards real terrorists, instead of anybody who's perceived as a criminal like Ashcroft. Only problem, governments in the past always abuse the extensive powers the patriot act gives, and they will in the future.

Yeah, that might be what he meant, but I don't think he said it very well.

And yeah, it still seems to me that he should have problems with the law itself.

....Didn't the last debate already cover all this?

This one is about domestic and foreign policy the next one will only deal with domestic policy.

Bush has been making some clear and concise of answers to a lot of the issues. To be honest, for a lot of things I'm feeling what Bush has to say right now.

I still don't agree with him, but I'm starting to understand his mentality and that he isn't just a sockpuppet with Cheney's hand up his ass.

This remind anybody of WWE? You know, like where the 2 wrestlers (give/take entourages) square off to yell at each other via the crowd?

What would happen if someone didn't read their pre determined question, and made up a question on the spot?
