I'd like to save some of the awesome matches I occasionaly have with friends but holding select or start doesn't seem to do it. I have no idea how to save my replay :\

You have to play in VS mode to save replays. You can't do it if you are playing in arcade mode.

From my limited experience, Akira is definitely not easy. Lots of precise timing there.

I'm still on training mode 5-C (Avoiding down attacks) with Jacky (?). Holy shit, dual shock is already being a pain for me. My fingers are really ****ed up when playing VF, ah well, it's cool!

After messing around with my copy of VF4:Evolution that I got for 5 bucks used recently, I can see why this is the premier fighting game. For a long time, I was all Tekken all the time. After learning the launchers and canned combos, it is easy to open a can, but VF seems much more fluid and open for improvisation. The fighters lack personality in some instances, but I can definately see the variation in styles between each fighter. I am pumped for VF5 tomorrow. I think this may definately rekindle my love affair with fighting games!!

Most stores will have a 1 day shipping lag.

On the plus side, my Hori $80 stick is here, or will be here tomorrow when I tell Fedex to bring it. On the minus side, I just spent the weekend playing VF5 on a pad and I probably won't be able to play it again until some time after the PAL release.

So, any tips on what I can do with a Hori stick? Do some awesome PC gaming perhaps?

In past versions, I found Lau and Pai to not be too bad to start out with.... Also Brad Burns isn't too bad. Just stay away from Shun, Akira, Goh and the chick that wears the robes....

Jacky (Jerky) /Sarah for good, mid-speed/powered all-around characters;
Kage also (one of my favs still) but he's gotten a bit more complex since VF3.

And Wolf for a slower, grappler type, if you're into that.

What's the latest with regarding to ps2->ps3 adaptors? Has Nyko said anything recently? I tried out the Hori stick and I really don't like how small the base is. I'd much rather be using the original Tekken 1 sticks but it seems like I won't be able to play this game the proper way for a while.
