2) enjoy a Sega game, look forward to a sequel, then count the years that pass without a sequel
3) wax poetic about a Sega game that's at least seven years old, regardless of its critical reception at launch
4) defend yourself, both on the Internet and to real-life friends, concerning why you like Sega games (certain ones or generally)
5) read UK Resistance's Web site and nod knowingly, laugh and cry — sometimes all at once
6) play at least one Sonic game

all you've experienced from this is "hope Sega ports an arcade game, only to have that hope crushed". you've gotta start somewhere, though — congrats on leveling up. =P

I guess this is a tipical 2 situation then. I play VF5 religiusly since it came out on xbox, and I'm not tired of it, but not to release R is something that only Sega could think of.

For me is like Nintendo not releasing Zelda outside of Japan, or MS not releasing Halo outside US. Something unthinkable, something stupid beyond belief. SEGA then!

Nope. Most of the remaining players are ultrahardcore to boot.

You'd have an easier time finding a game on KOFXII.

I've been thinking about dragging this game out again. I have two VF High Grade sticks, but none of my friends are that into fighting games, let alone something so deep as VF5. I've been hoping that Sega would release an upgrade for the PS3, but with the low sales, I can't imagine any reason they would.

I don't know how the online community it, but I still play the game semi-regularly against a buddy (Lei Fei vs Shun Di!). Having a regular sparring partner has really motivated me to get better at the game. Easily my favorite fighter by a long shot (unless VOOT counts, then they're pretty tied).

Yesterday i went to the game room at school and there was a VF5 (360) game going. I played a few rounds with Aoi, getting my ass beat but slowly regaining my familiarity with the game.

Noone was interested, so they shortly switched to SFIV and immediately a crown formed.
