The VF5 stick is USB and the adapter for PS/PS2 peripherals works in PS/PS2 mode, so i'm unsure whether the VF4 stick will be compatible, even if it works for DR.

I'd be interested to know the answer too though if anybody has a PS3, the VF4 stick, the adapter and Dark Resurrection. I like the button layout.

Sega's site has VT3 listed to have online play which we all know isnt in. So really i dont think the site is much to go by.

Anways 1080p shouldnt really be an issue.....if you have a ps3 why the hell would you wait 6 months for this game? 1080p or no 1080p

You wait if you're boycotting the PS3 or if you're sure that the 360 version will have some spectacular new additions. JohnTV could probably answer this. :D
 
What is the deal with the 10th anniversary version of VF5? Is this an extra disc for the ps3 or does it come on the same disc as VF5?

Didn't that (10th anniversary VF) already come with the PS2 VF4 Evo? Maybe Sega's re-releasing it with the new two characters in blocky VF1 style?
 
in NA version of Evo had the 10th Anniversary VF included on the disk, go in options and there is extra or secret whatever mode in there

the JPN version of Evo (wich was released earlyer then the NA version) didn't have that 10th Anniversary VF game on the disk, that is why there is a stand alone 10th Anniversary VF game in JPN

all of us who bought the NA version of VF4Evo already have it on the disk
 
So both the PS3 and Xbox 360 version wont have online versus play? Not really a biggie imo, but free download content (fighting really good players' ghost etc, quest mode whatever will be kind of cool).

I got to where I could pull off the knee about 80% of the time on a good day. I can spod and DLC with ease. It took me months of practicing :)
 
Sounds like Resistence/Ridge as a dual format version for language (mentions in 1up about it all) so I might blow caution and import for my JPN PS3:lol

same way as any other account, just choose Japan instead of US/HK etc...

you have to view the PSN website in Japanese, but a monkey could figure it out anyway

there are instructions on starting a japanese account in the gthd thread -- i didn't find it totally obvious.
 
I entered totally random infos and I got the Japanese account... just follow the same steps used to create your original account but write Tokyo at least twice in some empty spaces.

Oh and the smaller trailer is the same that is in Genesis Collection and all around the net. The bigger one is new but the picture quality is shitty.

I find it shamefull a multimedia machine produced by a multimedia giant has such a shitty selection of media available to its user-base...

360 > PS3 by a country mile in this regard and that is simply staggering....

If I can view someting on my PC why can't I view it on my PS3 through the browser and/or store?
 
I assume the trailers are what I'm seeing in stores now? One of them had me drooling last week. :)

The Japanese version doesn't have the 10th anniversary game on the disc, it was separate. This appears to be a rerelease/pre-order bonus; it's a PS2 game, not a PS3 game.
 
has it been confirmed that the virtua stick uses sanwa parts? it'd cost me like $40 more than the basic hori stick, but i'm tempted if it's really arcade quality.
