How can anyone blame Garret for the cowboys passing game? Romo has had time and people open and he is just missing them.

Garrett doesn't get a shred of blame when we blow this game. Our defense played balls out, and Romo is letting the team down with his stupid throws.

I think a lot of the talk about Garrett is during game prep. Romo just doesn't seem to be improving at all and teams are keying in on his tendencies more.

Good coaches put players in the best position to excel. Considering how good Romo used to be, I think it makes sense to spread the blame to his coaches as well. He used to be much more accurate than he is now. Gotta coach him up during the week.

Yup. Plus, he needs to call more runs.

Romo never was great. He had a great season, he's been a product of an unyielding hype machine, and now they're turning on him. He needs to man up and make plays.

Good game for the Jets, even with the loss. Sanchez was bound to have a day like this sooner or later and he'll learn from it. Our defense though is for real and that bodes well for the season. 3-1, first place. Bring on next week.
Yeah, honestly, I came into this week feeling that this kind of result would be alright, and really, it is. This game told me that the team is legit. Sanchez still has a long way to go to take the step up from talented rookie to elite QB, and this game showed that too. But the rest of the offense is pretty well set and ready to support Sanchez. And the defense is absolutely for real, and they proved that on the field today.

And on the flip side, the Saints are definitely for real as well. That offense is a monster with talent everywhere, and the defense is surprisingly strong. This kind of game is not the kind of game Saints teams in past years would have won.

The Saints are up there with the Giants as the best in the NFC.

I never said he was great. But he was much better than he is now.

Well, I can live with losing to the Saints.

We've got a Monday night game next week...with any luck, Sanchez will get his head together.

Just poppin' in to say fuck yes Patriots. That was a nerve racking (and terribly called) game.

I think they have a great shot at being 6-1 going into their bye week.

Respect to your team as well. I think I have another to root for now.

I think the Jets need to make a big decision, because the defense is playing championship caliber football. Is this season about developing a young qb or trying to win it all?

I don't think the Jets have a choice to make, there's not enough of an upgrade to QB to justify a switch.

Uh, what options do they have? It's Sanchez or nothing.

What kind of decision? Sanchez is the best QB on their roster and they're trying to win every week.

Best part of the game was the total glee some Saints showed on that Jenkins offside on 4th and inches. It was happiness out of sheer relief--no way were they actually going to earn it and avoiding that scenario made for some big smiles.

Good shit, Jets D. Keep it going.

Good game, Saints-Age. It looks like your team has power defense to go along with its killer offense. If we were going to lose, at least it was to an excellent Saints team.

God, I wish big Jenks didn't bite on Brees' bait, though. If only we could've held there...

Miami, see you kids next Monday.

I love watching this Denver defense play. They know how to put pressure in an instant.

That and Wade Phillips sucks at calling plays.

There is no reason why you can't do both. Jets should win every game till there break,

what was there alternative? Keep Favre? Sign Jeff Garcia? There really wasn't a better QB out there that would put them any closer to a Super Bowl than they are now.

Garrett calls their offensive plays and Philips (I think) calls their defensive plays. Both will be fired at the end of the season.

You know, root...like rah rah. I'm not sure if they say whoot, or root, but the cajuns always say root for your team.

Sorry, it just sounded like you were either rooting for a second team or decided to root for your own team now.

Romo looks like shit. He has all season. I also agree that he seems to be getting worse with each passing season, not better. And count me in as never understanding why the Cowboys don't run the ball more.

I'll be honest, I'm worried about that game next week. Not because of the Dolphins, not because of Sanchez coming off this game. Just Jets-Dolphins Monday Night Football games are always crazy ass bad juju.

Nothing sucks more then a game you should have won. Sanchez is getting ridiculous on turnovers, Hold on to the fucking ball!! Well we have Miami next week, a good chance to recover from this.

I'm apt to agree. I think there was a reason Parcells was so conflicted about starting him, he didn't really want to but the edict came down from the great Jones. This is why Wade's the coach, he's a yes man.
