Yeah I noticed that and then Bubba Ray pulling him out of the ring and telling him something on the outside before anything escalated beyond that. It's fucked up, but chances are that unless Bradshaw had beaten up Triple H or Shane McMahon, nothing will be done to him.

My friend had made a bold statement, that they seem to moving all the ECW talent (granted only Benoit has moved) to SD, maybe forging some type of brand out of the shambles that is Smackdown.

Meanie already had that cut from Hardcore Homecoming. JBL unloaded on him giving him that nasty black eye and busted the cut back open. And yeah, I was suprised to see how big Meanie has gotten. Last time I saw him he had dieted down to stick status. Meanie is lucky he put all of that weight back on, or JBL probably would have raped him while he was dazed. JBL will go unpunished like always. What an asshole.


Also, I was thinking about the ppv again this morning. I totally forgot about Sandman's rolling rock onto the ladder placed over D-Von. OH MY GOD! Brutal. We were all squirming in our seats after that. Probably my favorite moment of the night.

LMMFAO it was ALOT better than I expected it to be. I WAS right about the matches being short though. Short matches with big spots..ECW must have found middle ground with WWE. Rey vs Psychois was a disappointment, Storm vs Jericho was average but it was a highlight for me for nothing more than The Impact Players' reunion... Awesome vs Tanaka=MOTN...RVD promo/subsequent Sabu vs Rhyno match(with a fuckin Van Daminator) Was the moment of the night. And to top it all off I got my wish for a flaming table spot.

The WWE crusaders were STILL wrothless, other than Heyman,Styles and others shooting on them hard. The Crowd and the atmosphere is what made the show great when it was all set and done. It WAS watered down a great deal, but had enough nostalgia and suprises to make it great.

I would think that depends on where Smackdown ends up (TV network). ECW contains alot of violence and blood, Smackdown can't show any blood on UPN. If Smackdown ends up on USA, I could see it changing to an ECW show. But Juventud is going to be on RAW tonight, so I don't know what to make of all this.

Just shy of 950,000, I believe. Amazing to think that an ECW PPV could do WrestleMania-like numbers.

800K? I was thinking more like 500K tops.. this is HUGE.. Im sure Vince will make this at least a year thing, if not try to bring it back for good.

800K x 35 bucks = 29 million bucks.. that has to be more than ECW ever made on its own... plus DVD sales of the event, plus webcast, plus people buying the replay plus ticket sales at the gate. It may wind up pulling in close to 50 million when all is said and done.

and for those that dont keep up, an average run of the mill PPV probably does around 115-150K buys, sometimes hitting 200K, but this is unhread of.

FWIW, Vengence looks like it could bring in a 300-500K buyrate itself, the card is going to be loaded.

And if it isn't ECW I hope it's somewhere else. Start a new promotion when his contract is up or something. The guy is a fucking wrestling genius. He just needs someone to handle the money for him. It kills me to see him stuck in WWE mediocrity.

It time vince stopped listening to all the people (especially his little daughter) that have tried to sabotage paul and run him out of the company since he was hired. Now vince has to take advantage of what is currently the best wrestling mind in the biz and either let him try and save smackdown ( cause steph has proven she cant ) or start a new ecw brand under his full creative control.

I dled this one but there was no Heyman shoot promo! That was one of the things I wanted to see most...Was it not seen during the PPV? I remember that there was supposed to be a surprise that wasn't seen on the PPV or would be on the DVD, that would only be for the live crowd...did the people who ordered the PPV see the promo?

As for the show...I loved it. This was the most exciting PPV I've ever seen. For me the only thing it was missing was Perry Saturn.

About the only thing that pissed me off was that they chose right in the middle of Eddie vs Benoit to start ripping on Edge. Though those chants were great.

I felt bad for Guerrero and Benoit. I think Benoit wanted to go all the way with the time he was given, but Eddie was not giving a shit at all. He looked really uninterested in the whole thing. I'm assuming it's because he wanted to get away from all the alcohol and it put him in a bad, weird mood, but it still could've been the match of the night. It just ended up being the worst and the most disappointing.
