wonder what big mom's policies are towards pirates under her flag. will she consider it a declaration of war if jack attacks pekoms? will she only go after jack in retaliation? or will she go after pekoms for fighting against another emperors pirate crew without her permission? maybe this is how pekoms gets kicked out of the big mom pirates and then joins luffy.


edit: thinking about it pekoms is pretty much guaranteed to be out of the big mom pirates. capone will make her think pekoms betrayed her. pekoms will then bring luffy to the wedding and she will find out. i don't think things are going to go well for pekoms once this all happens.

Nah, I imagine that target is Zeff considering he has probably the most personal connection to Sanji because he pretty much is a father/savior to Sanji plus he would be much easier to capture/kill then her.

The whisper came of too me as something that either involves his family or Pudding herself.

Plus if nami was in-danger he would have reacted much more wild when he whispered whatever too him, I remember I love how Sanji took control of the situation by using his family as leverage/power with Capone.

So, been thinking, and what if Raftel is either Pluton or Uranus? Since the log pose doesn't ever point to Raftel (otherwise why even bother with the road poneglyphs) it is most likely an artificial island of some kind, or otherwise an animal like Zou. I don't think the latter is likely, and given the ties to the ancient civilization, the former seems very possible. I'd guess it would be Uranus since the name suggests its the strongest ancient weapon.

Like I said, i hope/think some other strawhats join him like Nami and Ussop maybe its just me but why else wouldOda separate Luffy, Nami and Ussop during the Mink keeping Raizou secret reaction.
Plus I would love that the three of them trying to sneak into a wedding, Luffy grabbing food, Nami stealing treasure and Ussop trying to lie his way out if he gets caught.

I guess, that all members, which got separated in Dressrosa from the main crew (Nami, Brook and Chopper), will join Luffy. Sanji is also one of them and already there. So everybody gets the same amount of screen time. Brook will very likely join him, since he has some kind of history with Sanji's family. I also predict a "Alice in Wonderland" inspired arc, where those members fit very well (especially with Nami as Alice).

Zorro, Franky and Robin stay behind and defend the elephant. Ussop and Law are wild cards in my opinion. It's always funny to have Ussop around, but he already did enough in Dressrosa. Law could also stay behind, because Big Mom is not really his target and it's not part of their alliance.

yeah she hasn't really been build up as a major threat yet. there is still blackbeard out there so who knows he might be the one that goes after her if he thinks she is the weakest.

Zeff is likely, I agree, but Nami was captured along them at that very moment so she was the most easy way to blackmail him. She was even expected to come along with Chopper and Brooke to Big Mom's party as a hostage so she was vulnerable. It wouldn't matter if she was a member of the Strawhat crew since Big Mom isn't afraid of Luffy.

And I don't see why mentioning Pudding would affect Sanji if he doesn't even know her.

I think it's probably one of the Strawhats, Zeff or something about his family, I don't think Sanji would care that much about the newkamas and they have Ivankov.

I think Luffy and Big Mom are going to have a confrontation, but will end up teaming up with each to face off against Sanji's father. I made a theory about it on Oro Jackson, but that's mainly what I'm thinking.

Though this recent chapter makes it seem like Whole Cake Island might be a one year ordeal, so we'll see I suppose.

That team is exactly what I want. Brook leaves his body and gets lost, Chopper finds a room full of books and just spends the whole time reading, Nami steals all the money/poneglyph, Luffy eats all the food, and Jinbei actually finds Sanji and the two hatch a plan.

There is no way Luffy is going on a solo adventure to rescue Sanji. The reason Luffy keeps mentioning his plan to do so is because Oda is setting up the expectation just so he can subvert it.

The "separation" you're seeing there is a gap inserted because it's a two-page spread, and most manga artists insert vital or layout elements in the space where two pages are close together. It's an issue that doesn't present itself in digitally stiched-together scans.

at some point luffy is gonna have to defeat the emperors with his own power if he wants the same kind of respect roger got. luffy is still growing in strength so when he finally meets an emperor he will probably be strong enough to take them down. of course it will be a come from behind victory like most of his fights.

Uh, Big Mom scares the shit out of me. She seems to keep tabs on everyone, not just those under her thumb. Whereas Kaido seems to primarily focus on certain areas of interest, rather than becoming a ruler of everything.
