One thing I've always wanted to know about devil fruit users and water.
Like, if they took a bath, they would get weak? What about if they were on the beach, and they stepped into the shallow water. What would happen? What about pool water? Or is it sea water only? What about if I took sea water and splashed it on them?
The whole water thing and devil fruits still confuses me.

I thought I remember Oda saying the person's body has to be submerged at least half-way for them to be affected mentioning normal baths wouldn't work.
But anyway, just saw the episode (yeah I know I'm late) Buggy and Hancock are awesome, why can't they BOTH join? ^.^

Nope. Both fresh water and salt water will affect them. The only thing that matters is whether the water is standing or moving, as watervengeance mentioned.r - b - x said:

Hey guys, I moved to Japan about 5 weeks ago, and this is my favorite show on TV. I had read the manga, but never watched the show. It's a great supplement to the manga, I think.

Rewatching the series from it's start with the roommate, and I have to say... I really think the look of the series peaked around Water 7. The newer episodes (from Thriller Bark onwards) just seem like they're being made with less love and care than some of the earlier ones. Can't really put my finger on it, but I just feel the visuals aren't quite as good.

So, after the shit fest that was last week's episode, I just watched 425 perfectly with no ads. How does that work?
-Great episode. I liked the new animation on Mr.3's flash back. I'm really happy that they aren't half assing them... seeing old stuff in HD is cool.
-Magellen's voice is good.
-As soon as Sengoku popped up, I knew there was going to be a segway into the movie tie in episodes (No one's ever broken out of Impel Down, OWAIT).

Funimation turned off all the ads on the videos because of the problems it was causing. They'll undoubtably come back, but hopefully after Funimation fixes all the errors.Anth0ny said:
