I mean, he eventually saw the "NO" she
did write in response to "is it ok for me to go out with Ueda," so he kinda knows how she feels at this point
but yeah,
she didn't wanna hit in the softball game, she hit in the softball game.
she didn't wanna give him the lunch, she gave him the lunch.
there seems to be a pattern
there was a line of monologue in ep1 or 2 where Naho says something to the effect of... even though she knows what she's gotta do, it's not so easy for people just to change their behavior like
that
good ep tho. that last scene hit hard. the girl who's father owns a baker knew immediately what'd happened the second they got to the end of that letter.
(also, I just tried to look up her name and checked wikipedia...
do not check wikipedia. definitely just got some shit spoiled.)
