Okay, I'm just wondering if anyone knows who did the voice of Pero (the robot guide/detective) in Metropolis. I've already sent the disc back to Netflix and I forgot to check the credits as I definitely thought I recognized the voice, but couldn't place him. Of course, stupid IMDB seemingly as very incomplete Japanese credits and just has the credit for the English voice.

So if anyone happens to know who it was or another place that might have that info, I'd be much obliged.

Courtesy of the Anime News Network, which is a good (if somewhat spotty) source for this sort of thing: Norio Wakamoto, who was also Vicious in Cowboy Bebop, Taiso in Giant Robo, God...er, sorry, Coach in Gunbuster, the Master of Cha Cha Maru in Maison Ikkoku, and Gigalde "Striding Across The Stars Like A Giant" Gangalagash in Planetes. Awesome.

Hold the phone...he's also Mechazawa-kun in Cromartie. Holy shit, this man is my hero and I never even knew it.
