So, what did we learn?

Republicans really want to trash Hilary's chances of winning the election.
They've spent over $20 million investigating Benghazi.
They've spent more time investigating this than they did 9/11 as far as committees.
Republican Gowdy dares to impune the integrity of an Admiral former Joint Chief of Staff.

Where's Chris Matthews, Keith Olbermann, and Rachel Maddow? Chris is going to put his foot in all this shit and it will be fucking glorious. Think of it as a positive version of Karl Rove's meltdown after the second Obama W.

Only caught the last 2 hours. I'm going to try and watch more of it later.

An absolute farce by the Republicans. Amazing that they don't see how useless their arguments are, or how this situation benefits Hillary in the long run.

Regardless, I'm extremely proud to be a democrat right now. Asking sane questions, standing up to the ridiculously biased chairman, sitting through half a days worth of questioning. Here's to 4 more years in the white house.

It could just be me, but hillary's hair looks so much more fabulous than it did in 2008. She is fabulous. She did fabulous. God bless my queen Hillary.

So what did we learn? If he's 'nailing it' surely we've learned something today right? Did we waste millions of tax payer dollars just to show off his skill for arguing?

there's no wasting money when it comes to republicans having fun. We learned.....Hillary can talk for 11 hours and some emails from Sid didn't get sent to the state department i think.

I dunno. Doesn't matter. This is the ninth investigation into Benghazi, if there's one thing that isn't necessary it's results. Gotta enjoy the moments.

The queen played Horde mode in solo and she beat every wave all the way through wave 50.

Hillary for President just gained a lot of appeal √

Can you imagine how easy debates during the general are going to be for her after this?

After watching nearly most of this, and what a long day it has been, I've come away with a better understanding, respect, and liking to Hillary.

She was awesome. Intelligent. Patient. Descriptive. Quick. I can understand and foresee a huge upswing heading her way in regards to poll numbers.

In the end, I'm actually fucking excited to see Hillary become president.

I think Gowdy realized after that coughing fit where she declined a break that she wasn't going to crack any time soon and the optics were getting worse and worse for the GOP.

They just did the opposite.

Just like Hilldawg made Obama untouchable in 2008, they have made her untouchable on either issue for 2016.

Rise President Clinton the 2nd!

republicans are all in a meeting deciding who will be sacrificed to the freedom caucus to fulfill the blood pact

this is why pompeo was utterly baffled when clinton didn't use "counselling" to find a scapegoat for the benghazi attack

also just going to say that trying to use psychological evaluations to find who to throw under the bus is absolutely rancid and despicable, i'm the most upset that pompeo was confused as to why hillary DIDN'T do that

There was not a single question or subject that I recall that had not already been investigated and discussed over the last three years. It was just the same crap ad nauseum, there was no new information being sought or new issues to be discussed. Just an unending refrain that we don't know the whole truth but no specifics about what area or subject matters where we actually lacked the knowledge necessary to determine the 'truth'.

Ugh reading the comments on that page is just depressing. It's really sad to think there are people out there who follow the "Hillary is a bad person and a liar" garbage.

This is why I've tentatively supported Hillary over Bernie for President so far. Sanders might have been able to stand up to a grilling like that, but I'm guessing he would have cracked after a few hours. Hillary was very, very Presidential through that entire thing, and she's completely unshakable.

I'd be glad to vote for either for President, but after this I'm behind Hillary all the way.

I can't believe they honestly thought she'd crack if they just went long enough.

They seriously underestimated her.

Today we saw the Double Down. Triple Down. And even the rarely seen Quadruple Down. I think the aim was always to just wear her down, and it probably would have worked if the material was stronger. But the vast majority of their questions, she didn't even have to really think about answer. It was half a day of looking for a "Gotcha" moment that never came.

Jesus Christ.

I only saw the last few exchanges and it already felt like I watched for several hours.

To think that I missed the first NINE HOURS of this horseshit is unbelievable.

Republicans, get your fucking shit together.

At this point, I'd prefer they get their shit and shove it back down their throats and never show up anywhere in public again.

I have no idea why I watched that but now I know that your politicians at least on the republican side are a bunch of stone faced idiots who shouldn't be chairing a PTA meeting let alone something like this. Beats the house of commons though.
