I know this post was not directed at me and I know I have been advocating for no mass claim, but I feel as though this would be one of the positives to doing it. But it is more useful when it gets down to the wire, and there is less to claim.

Chances are, each role is unique. Two claims on, say, a doctor would indicate that one is scum and one is town. If one can be checked somehow, then we ultimately end up with dead scum and a confirmed town, which is a huge win.

I don't want to do it now, though.

Also, nin. There's something about your posts that feels very dismissive. Like you're just contributing and prodding for the sake of appearing active. Can you elaborate on some other ideas you may have had?


Also, I have played with Kyan in 3 of his four scum games. I was scum with him in Gods and Bar. His play now is very indicative of his scum patterns. I don't like it. He tends to rely on the safety of the scum chat and only posts in the game thread when he has thought it through. In my opinion, that's not town play. I will be keeping an eye on him.

I do not want to vote for him at the moment because I also realize I may be biased, but my gut is telling me something is up.

One of my first few posts in this game was saying how my busiest days were Tuesdays and Wednesdays and that I'd be posting late when I could, and then one of those nights I can't post due to maintenance. I know I have a lower post count, but I'm gonna fight against the coasting claim.

I've given my opinion on three different ideas (mass claim, peeking, no lynch). The no lynch thought wasn't even me trying to push the idea, I legitimately wanted to know if this was a situation where that would be useful.

Ouro and Cabot make sense, though. I hadn't considered the other side of the coin where in a game where we're all power roles, the danger of hitting one isn't as important.

I still don't know who to vote for today, and will be reading back through again. Hopefully I'll get a better idea before day end.

Well. The thing is that I was there at the beginning of the game. Not much discussion was going in those Early hours and then I was busy and just today i had time to catch up. Do of course I was reacting to the past and still am since I did not even get to have the chance to talk to everyone or react. I get the criticism since I wanted some thoughts on the game by nearly everyone.

Are you really asking me to give a coherent read on Splinter? Well...

He is consistent, so far with his town persona. His detachment and general disinterest as scum usually come late game and since I just pointed it out to him in Pokemon as one of his tells, I doubt he'd make it obvious if he is scum now.

He's probably neutral and everyone is screwed.
