I just got home from dave and busters and I'm still buzzing with joy from how good this game is and how much fun it was to play with my friends. It is only the second time I've played it but I seriously can't see how this beauty:

would ever get old. Why the fuck this isn't on every platform known to man blows my mind. Why namco chose to put that tank!tank!tank! game on wii u instead of this is so much missed potential. Pac Man CE DX sold tons right? This would sell more.

Anyway, I'm done bitching and singing this games praises.

What arcade games do you want ported to your platform of choice?

Never heard of it, but that machine looks awesome.

There was a Pac-man game on the Gamecube/AGB that was a freaking BLAST back in the day. One of my favorite memories on the system.

I loved playing this. It is impossible not to yell and scream while playing it.

Haha, I remember giving out quarters to random people so they would be our fourth. Until my group started playing it, everyone was ignoring it, which is stupid.

Played it recently and it is indeed a ton of fun.
Would love to play something like this on XBLA or PSN.
Was the gamecube VS game with the GBA connectivity similar?

I remember when this game first came out. It's absolutely amazing. I was looking into getting a machine. The game will NEVER get old.

I'm inclined to agree

This shit is so fucking hype after some good bowling. They need to make this a mode in a new Championship Edition.

This game is awesome! There was a machine at the Pac-Man 30th Anniversary party in LA in 2010 and it was a blast. I would love to get a home version.

The version I played was in a cocktail cabinet and it was perfect for it. You can play this game while looking at the screen from any angle.

i've wanted to play this game since the moment i seen it. it's just a gorgeous cabinet regardless of gameplay, probably the best looking one i've seen yet.

I liked some of the concept of Pac Man BR, but in some ways it feels like it takes away a lot of the core concepts of Pac Man. Things like the ghosts, fruit, and regular pellets are put on the sidelines, and instead it becomes a race for whoever gets the power pellet first. Admittedly, I haven't really spent a whole lot of time with that game (that shit is expensive at Dave and Busters) but I couldn't see Pac Man: BR as its own game.

Since you mentioned Pac Man, I'll bring up Baby Pac Man. It was a slightly harder version where there were no big power pellets on the maze screen. Instead, it had two chutes that you travel down to go into pinball mode. There was a pinball machine hooked up to the game and you had to use the pinball portion to gain the bigger pellets to eat ghosts. You can also gain fruits and speed boosts.

Given that it uses two games in one, I figured it would have been great for a dual screen console, aka DS, 3DS, or even Wii U. But it hasn't happened yet....

Oh snap that game was the bomb! I played with that version at a local arcade

I lost every match against my friends but I had a constant thought that I could fix things and not suck. It was still fun though and it reminded me alot of playing bomberman lan on the early PSP days. Shit was glorious.

What I loved about that table was that it was so underappreciated that even in such a packed arcade that table would be empty atleast 80% of the time for me and my bros. Probably going to make a trip back there soon again.

I played this at NYCC last year and it was a blast. Definitely want to get this when I move to a bigger place.

Why isn't this on digital platforms?!

Yeah, played this version at Ground Kontrol in Portland, OR. Pretty fun multiplayer game.

None, really. Since I have a THX sound system, I usually just play Afterburner Climax, Crazi Taxi or F-Zero GX really loud. And with that recent AR code of enabling F-Zero AX on GX, things are gonna get crazy. Whenever I order an AR that is. Pac Man CE DX is a blast though.

This is the one that was designed by Hirokazu Yasuhara, the designer for the Genesis Sonic games, right?
It's really fun but costs more points than I wish it did at Dave and Buster's.
