Update: Father of the toddler Sa'ad Dawabsheh also died from the wounds

The father of the Palestinian 18-month-old baby boy who died in last week's settler arson attack in the occupied West Bank has also died from his wounds.

Sa'ad Dawabsheh, the father of Ali, died early on Saturday, his brother told Al Jazeera.
Funeral held for Palestinian baby killed in settler arson attack

The 32-year-old died in Soroka hospital, where he had been treated for second-degree burns to more than 80 percent of his body.

His wife, Riham and four-year-old son Ahmad remain in critical condition, in Tel Hashomer hospital.

Early last Saturday morning, a firebomb was thrown into the family's bedroom in a suspected settler arson attack, setting the house alight.

A funeral is expected to be held later on Saturday in Duma, where last week's attack took place.

The Palestine Liberation Organization has said it holds Israel's government "fully responsible" for the death of the 18-month-old baby and will lodge a complaint with the International Criminal Court (ICC).

We should also note that a suspect has been arrested and imprisoned without trial, being treated just as any suspected terrorist has in the past - I'm on mobile so don't have the link but read it a couple days ago (BBC maybe?)

Is the practice of administrative detention a mechanism in which to hold a suspect (to prevent them from committing further crimes) until a proper trial can be held?

Yeah, it says they've been instructed to detain suspects in terror attacks against Palestinians, but there have been no suspects arrested yet to do that with.

Palestinian mother injured in arson attack dies

The mother of an 18-month-old Palestinian baby burned to death in an arson attack in the occupied West Bank, has herself died from injuries sustained during the attack.

Reham Dawabsheh, 26, who died on Sunday night in an Israeli hospital, had suffered third-degree burns to at least 80 percent of her body in the July 31 firebombing.

Israeli settlers are accused of throwing flammable liquids and Molotov cocktails inside two homes in the village of Duma in that incident.

Saad, Dawabsheh's husband, died from his injuries eight days after the attack while four-year-old Ali, another son of the couple, is still in hospital.

I feel so bad for the 4 year old son who's entire family died. Fucking despicable.
