edit: Either the netcode for this game sucks or there are shitty laggy servers online right now. Poor man's UT.

The only thing I liked was the faster running option with the nice blur effect.

Erm... this is not running the Halo engine.

Halo PC plays just fine for what it is. The chaos and such other random and often hilarious gameplay situations make up for the quirky netcode.

Wow, what a piece of trash.

The network code makes it unplayable with just two people, lightning effects are almost absent, textures are mostly mediocre, weapons are terrible, havok is near unnoticeable...

Unless the final version is tons better I am avoiding this like the plague.

other than that, it's a cookie cutter futuristic shooter that's been done before and better.

there's nothing that stands out and makes you say "that's cool!". it's boring to play, the hit detection is waaaay off, the sound effects are generic, the musical score sucks, the physics are lame, the weapons underpowered and lame, the maps are no better than a decent mod's maps and overall it's just not fun.

epic/digitial extremes really, really need to let the "futuristic fps" die and move on to something else. been there, done that. GIVE US SOMETHING NEW!

Damn and iw as so looking forward to thsi game. MP is so jerky on a good ping and the weapons seemed off
