Pragmata Demo Switch 2, PS5, PC, Xbox Graphics Comparison + FPS Test

People realise the switch 2 is meant to be the worst version? It's not about graphics, resolution or framerate. Those are for high end systems. With switch 2 it's all about getting any version at all. Even if it's 720p. The switch audience don't care about best graphics and performance.

Nintendo been pushing 60 FPS longer than the other console manufacturers.

That's why I used to always give them props when psychos were comparing last of us 2 graphics at 30 FPS on a ps4 to a handheld running low powered games at 60fps LOCKED.

What you mean for great? I'm genuinely asking. From what I heard seems quite unstable and it's just a demo. Knowing capcom I'm bit pessimistic to average 60 fps on switch 2. I have in mind the last RE releasing.

The game is beautiful to watch, the image is crisp, and it is very responsive and fluid. I don't care if it fluctuates between 50 to 60fps on measurements; not to mention that this is a demo, which means it's probably already several months old.

I don't wait for a YouTube videos to upload my opinion. DF has fried the brain of people.

This is a factually incorrect belief, and I hope it dies already.

It's like saying that the kids who play Minecraft, Roblox and Fortnite don't care about graphics and performance.
It's like saying that the millions of people who made GB Pokémon the juggernaut that it is didn't care about graphics and performance.
It's like saying that the millions of adults who spent thousands of hours on Rocket League and Binding of Isaac don't care about The Order 1886 or TLOU2.
In reality, graphics comparisons have been a thing since the consoles of the late 70s, among kids and grown-ups alike. People have been caring about graphics and performance since home video games became a thing.

There are relatively few people who have a Nintendo Switch and/or Switch 2 as their only gaming system. Most Switch owners also have another gaming system, or at least they're exposed to better-performing systems everywhere they turn. How can one possibly think that all of these people don't care about best graphics and performance?

Some people seem to think that a savvy gamer, who's been gaming for 30+ years and has a PS5 and/or a PC with at least medium specs, should never pick the Switch 2 version if he has a better alternative, under no circumstance. Well, some of them will do exactly that.
Now, can you say that such a person doesn't care about best graphics and performance? Can you say that a person who had a Dreamcast in 1999, but loved Pokemon Yellow, didn't care about best graphics and performance?

Some people in here are borderline explicitly saying that anyone choosing the Switch 2 version of a game is clueless, or an idiot.
You're wrong. Get over yourselves.

What on earth are you on about?

The dummies won't ever understand this.

  • Pragmata has two display modes on Xbox Series X and PS5. PS5 Pro has a single display mode.
  • The difference between the display modes is mainly in the fps rate, which remains stable in performance mode, and the lighting quality, with better global lighting, shadows, and reflections in quality/resolution mode.
  • Xbox Series X displays significantly lower shadows compared to PS5. In fact, in some cases, the character does not cast a shadow.
  • On the other hand, PS5 has worse global illumination and ambient occlusion than XSX in performance mode.
  • Performance on XSX is inferior to PS5 in resolution/quality mode with a more unstable frame rate.
  • PS5 Pro shows better image quality thanks to PSSR when compared to the PS5 and XSX versions. However, PC DLSS still has the advantage in this area.
  • As for PC, we find a fairly well-optimized version with settings superior to PS5 Pro.

Game looks and run great on Switch 2, impressive stuff. But I play split joy cons and these morons mapped the gyro aiming to the left joycon, which makes it unplayable for me.

Better than poor and not as glorious as PC, obviously. Just like the situation the PS5 is in.

If the game is running at 60fps on the Switch then it's really not pushing the other consoles at all. 120fps is very easy to attain even on modest rigs.
