watching this makes me realize how different PoE2 is compared to PoE1.
I'm curious how much i will like it.
Yeah, it looks really great. I'm excited for PoE2.PoE 2 looks much better to me, some people like the gameplay of PoE 1. Good thing they can stick with that one.
Idk, i just can't get into Diablo IV. I've tried many times, it just doesn't grab me. I hope PoE2 will change that.Looks much better than PoE1 or DIV.
I don't know, I can only smell chicken from where I'm standing.Looks like Sony are trying to taint PoE with their scent.
I've spend about 126 hours in Grim Dawn but just 26 into PoE1. Anyways i hope PoE2 can turn me over.Looking forward to spending some time with this one over the Christmas break. I put a good 90 hours into the first game.
I've heard the advice that if you treat Diablo 4 like a Gauntlet game and play it with a controller, things will click more.Idk, i just can't get into Diablo IV. I've tried many times, it just doesn't grab me. I hope PoE2 will change that.
What's a Gauntlet game?I've heard the advice that if you treat Diablo 4 like a Gauntlet game and play it with a controller, things will click more.
I'm saddened at the state of the I.P. to where it has become forgotten, but this is what I'm talking about:What's a Gauntlet game?
Ah, yeah i've heard about the game but never played it myself to be frank.I'm saddened at the state of the I.P. to where it has become forgotten, but this is what I'm talking about:

Seeing D4 as a Gauntlet game might work, though. Never played it with a controller.
Yes, definitely see where you coming from.I've only played D4 with a controller and it works great. I play it like a single-player game with no story. It's a good "veg out" game when I just want to press buttons and see some flashy lights for a bit.
I just found out recently it's only 3 Acts of the story and limited endgame for the early access. You also have to buy a certain supporters pack to get access to it.Looking forward to spending some time with this one over the Christmas break. I put a good 90 hours into the first game.
If you're ever interested in an ARPG series with puzzles, secrets, intricate level design, and fun side content, give the Gauntlet series a shot and give these two games a shot as well:Ah, yeah i've heard about the game but never played it myself to be frank.

Thanks, i might check Guardian of Light out when they are on Sale at Steam. That one seems to be better than Temple of Osiris. If you're ever interested in an ARPG series with puzzles, secrets, intricate level design, and fun side content, give the Gauntlet series a shot and give these two games a shot as well:

Years ago there was a subsection of ARPGs that would have these things, but with the popularity of Diablo it all slowly phased out over the years to where most ARPG devs mainly focused on the combat and the grind, and they would simply build around that instead.
I just found out recently it's only 3 Acts of the story and limited endgame for the early access. You also have to buy a certain supporters pack to get access to it.
They never mentioned this in any of their pre release trailers. Kind of scummy from a company who're usually one of the most honest and transparent in the entire industry.
I remember the beta of POE1. That only had 2 acts and you had to buy that too.I just found out recently it's only 3 Acts of the story and limited endgame for the early access. You also have to buy a certain supporters pack to get access to it.

Man you really missed out. That game was awesome back in The dayWhat's a Gauntlet game?

For sure having pathetic braindead auto aim for every attack and retarded inventory navigation makes things click more.I've heard the advice that if you treat Diablo 4 like a Gauntlet game and play it with a controller, things will click more.
Oh cmon. It's early access for a free game. They don't want the general public to play this version of the game and complain about the content and lack of polish.I just found out recently it's only 3 Acts of the story and limited endgame for the early access. And that's fine. My issue is they weren't clear about it while also making huge efforts to expand their audience with all the console centric stuff they done this summer and more recently with Yoshida.Oh cmon. It's early access for a free game. They don't want the general public to play this version of the game and complain about the content and lack of polish.
It is more of a beta or stress test for their dedicated fans.
It isn't scummy. You can wait for the game to release and play it then.
RudePoE 2 looks much better to me, some people like the gameplay of PoE 1. Good thing they can stick with that one.
Yep I'm not a fan of the way ARPGs have been heading in more recent times where you basically just run and everything dies around you. Slow the gameplay down and bring back the interaction and strategy required by the player.PoE1 was too generic, that faceroll gameplay was boring as hell. PoE2 needs to improve a lot to become a decent game.
If you have spent enough on poe1 you get "free" access to the beta, I can't remember but I think it was like the 60usd or greater support bundle from this or the last season. If you don't qualify then you have to buy the support bundle for poe2 to get in.I just found out recently it's only 3 Acts of the story and limited endgame for the early access. I'm pretty sure PoE2 is doing just that, more slowed down methodical gameplay.Yep I'm not a fan of the way ARPGs have been heading in more recent times where you basically just run and everything dies around you. Slow the gameplay down and bring back the interaction and strategy required by the player.
We really need aI really hope they do a better job adapting poe2 to console. Poe1 with all the loot on the ground that you have to stand over just the right way just to read the stats ruined the game
The right analogue stick let you cycle though the loot on the ground by moving it up or down.I really hope they do a better job adapting poe2 to console. Poe1 with all the loot on the ground that you have to stand over just the right way just to read the stats ruined the game
Was playing poe with some friends and one used controller, end game where the screen is full of more shit than ever and he only wanted to pick up a couple of things was so funny. The other guy specced the atlas purely on whatever will make more things drop just to be a troll. Maybe the button to show loot should also bring up a cursor to use to pick stuff up on controller. He ended up sorting it out a little by using a loot filter that hid everything except what could be sold moderately easy endgame.I really hope they do a better job adapting poe2 to console. Poe1 with all the loot on the ground that you have to stand over just the right way just to read the stats ruined the game
You mean online i guess? it works like in Path of Exile 1 i'm sure, there are no modes, you can just add friends (or join open parties too) and make parties up to 6 players where you play the whole game just like if you played solo, just that the enemies will have more health points of course, you can trade with them etc. This game says it's going to support online for 6 players. Can anyone who has been following this game closely explain exactly what that means? Is it really going to have 6 player co-op, or is it supposed to be limited to specific modes? I've looked online for any gameplay of 5 or 6 player co-op, and I can't find anything.

This year it was Stellar Blade, then The Plucky Squire and now this.
