I use the 49" Odyssey G9. I moved to ultrawide a while back, I can't ever go back to 16:9 now.

Especially with the features the G9 offers with it's Picture by Picture mode, being able to have 2 different sources input into the monitor is nice. I run Linux with a Windows KVM for anything "windows" related (Mostly just software. All my games work fine on Linux). When I kick in the Windows VM, the second half of the monitor is dedicated to just that monitor. Its quite nice for stuff like this.
I also have it paired with an HDMI switch where I have my switch and consoles plugged into it as well, so I can also use the second half of the monitor for any console I may want to play. I isolated all my gaming to just my desk. Keeps it all confined in a small area of my house.

Use 120" screen for projector for 3rd person cinematic games
28" Monitor for casual stuff or most first person shooters.

Yep I own a 7900XTX, hence thinking to do the jump.

Not a problem for competitive as I'll keep the 1440p OLED on the side for it!
Nice, that'll definately do for 4K. Ah yeah true, easily max out the refresh rate for comp while having the larger screen for everything else.

I'd do the same if i had the desk space lol.

Use to play and Skype on a 32in “sylvania” tv that had 720p, hdmi support, it changed everything.

I got these two monitors in VESA Mounts. I'm really happy with the decision of bigger the larker IKEA desk that goes up and down tbh

Hold up,

how's the 3D on those monitors?

I love mine. Check out the list of games supported by it:

Acer adds to the list every month. There are ways to add stereoscopic 3D to any game through modding, but its better when Acer implements it. The 3D Ultra games are especially stand out. You should see BG3 and The Witcher 3 in 3D. Ori and this newest Prince Of Persia metroidvania also look amazing.

Got a 38" 3840x1600 Ultrawide, a 32" 4K (it's not really a gaming monitor tho, got it off work) and a 55" 4K LG CX hooked up as a third if I wanna play on the study couch with a controller. Or with the bairns

It ever gets discounted or its pretty rare?

A bit on expensive side.

There's more 3d monitor solutions coming though with Samsung odyssey 3d too eventually so a bit of competition might drop the prices down. But I'm otherwise very interested in those monitors when price will be good.

The only thing is Acer has had this 3D available for a while now. They've implemented 3D into over 145 games. Their software like Spatial Labs True Game is very mature at this point. Samsung will definitely be playing catch up. I would compare to Epic Game Store App trying to catch Steam.

55” TCL 4K. Pretty satisfied with this for its price. Was pleasantly surprised with how beautiful games are on this. Had this for almost a year now.

I have a 55" TCL and it's been amazing for what I paid. I use it mostly for console gaming and movies, but sometimes connect to my PC.

Recently upgraded to a 55 LG G4, I have a very deep desk so the 55 works just about perfectly, vastly superior brightness compared to OLED monitors. Only 144hz vs 240hz sucks a bit, but 1400 vs 400 nits more then makes up for it.

Picking up a 2nd 32" monitor for my desktop, went with the gigabyte M32U. Wish there were better options on the market that arent OLED but i dont really want to wait another 6 months to see if new options pop up.

I had my gaming PC hooked up to a 48 inch LG CX Oled, but sold it and upgraded to an LG C1 Oled 55 inch and love it. I just game on the same TV as my Switch and retro consoles. I'm not going back to a small screen, or cramped up desktop environment ever again. I have a Corsair lap desk keyboard combo and also have a small foldable desk I can set up in my living room to bust out whenever I want to use it instead of the lap desk. Steam big picture mode works so good no matter if I play with a controller or keyboard and mouse. Now I only wish I could upgrade to 65 inch Oled someday, but prices are too steep for me at the moment.

65inch LG OLED, seated in a Recliner about 3 feet away with a little table for mousepad/ wireless mouse. Using wired gamepad atm because my PC drops connection frequently whenever I try to go wireless gamepad,

I use a Dell P2414H 1080p 24" IPS I bought in 2016 for both my gaming and daily tasks; I do not use or have room for a second monitor.
