[PC] HITMAN 15$ at Amazon.com (price mistake)

Knowing this is being sold under the intended price, is ethically right to buy it? I ask because it seems wrong to me (if indeed a wrong price), but maybe I'm wrong?

I mean, that depends on your ethics. I don't think there's anything wrong with taking advantage of a pricing mistake, depending on what happens with it. If you buy 400 copies with the intent to resell, it's pretty scummy, but if you're buying a copy for yourself or something, whatever.

It's all up to amazon if they want to honor the pricing mistake anyway. If they don't and they cancel your order, no harm no foul. If they do and lose a little money in the process, it's not like they're going to go out of business over it, and they earn a little consumer goodwill in the process.

I don't own a website, I intend to use them all for myself. Also, I'm joking.

On slickdeals comments like your previous one are the norm lol

Besides the joking there are actual limits. Three in this case, they canceled my fourth order.

You're not wrong, its for sure unethical. People are just willing to let that go for a deal sometimes (myself included).

A store has a thing marked for a certain price. You pay the market price,

Yes, it is ethically right.

This made it to Slickdeals. They probably killed it, lol.

I'll have a couple extra if they're honored. May just hook a couple gaffers up next month.

I chose to buy something at the advertised price set by the retailer. All I did was click pre-order now.

I buy stuff on sale all the time. Where do ethics come in to play? ;)

Well sales are intended to be at a lower price, whereas apparently this one isn't.
Not talking about the random guy who got lucky and purchased it thinking it's just on sale, but knowing someone messed up and put a lower price by mistake... Feels to me like, "legally stealing".

Karma and etc...

I managed to get one. Though I've been pretty interested in this one after hearing more about it, due to time I likely wasn't going to buy it at all. Not anytime soon at least and most definitely not at full price. At $14 though, I might as well pick it up and see if I can fit it in.

I'm sure if Amazon doesn't cancel it they'll find it in their heart to forgive me.

How do you know it's not Bezos who has the bad karma and we are just pawns in a larger game?

...don't stress, game will probably be $5 a month after release, if its not flat out bundled... that is the square marketing strategy after all :D

I don't, but Bezos will answer for his choices...us, for ours.

Anyway happy to see people got a good deal, don't want to be the party pooper, just doing a sanity check on self :)

My order updated to "pending verification". Looks like these might get cancelled.

Damn hoarders... Why can't you guys just let some of us get an actual copy instead of just selling it off...

Not sure if you know how digital distribution works. There isn't really a finite number of codes.
