[PC] HITMAN 15$ at Amazon.com (price mistake)

I saw thi when it first got posted but ignored it because I had no interest and probably couldn't run it that well.... but it just hit me they send a key that I could have re-sold or traded :/

I would assume but hard to say. I imagine they will get the keys from their supplier as usual and then take the loss of $45 per game. It's possible they may explain the situation to the supplier and maybe get a discount. They may limit this to one order. That has always been my experience with price mistakes that weren't outrageous with Amazon. But, I never had a digital price mistake before so it's kind of a different ballgame. And who knows, since they already had a 3 limit they may honor all 3 as well.
 
I love how people get so mad when this happens and it was done as a mistake and sometimes get cancelled. I wouldnt worry if you missed or got it anyhow will probably be $15 3 months after release.
 
Well they've kept my order so far and the game is back up for $59.99. Looks like the lucky few (yay me!) got the full thing for $15.00.

Amazon's supplier is Squeenix itself in this case ("Online Game Code" rather than a physical copy), so for the mistake to be honoured, either Amazon needs to pay the difference (since it's legally obligated to provide Squeenix with 70% of the intended price) or Squeenix needs to agree to take the hit (since it's the publisher and source of the keys).
 
Looks like they are honoring it.

Mine still says 14.99. Oh well if its get cancelled. I'm not even a huge PC gamer, but I'll happily play it on my mid-grade PC I built for that price lol
 
Yup, looks like theyre gonna honor it. Changed from pending to delivering on release day on the mobile app.
