I thought it was well overdue that some recognition was given to the smaller brands. Companies like OneX have excelled in niche high-end handhelds with clever designs. The OneXfly has all the design of a classic Vita-like handheld but comes packing with enough firepower to play games like Ghost of Tsushima at 60+ fps. Naturally Steam Deck was the runner up due to its unbeatable value proposition.

In 2024 when the article was written in march... we had 9 more months to go then, and 7 more to go now.

Don't see why they'd claim this so early, but then again every new entrant seems to be focusing more on just being a laptop with controllers instead of being anything special and bringing new form factors to the idea, so maybe their presumption was correct. Whatevz.

Probably a shit fake SEO article that will be continually updated if it gets a high google rank.

Like how you see "The BEST gaming GPUs for 2024" articles, but they have comments from 3 years ago.

See - https://www.neogaf.com/threads/seo-ruined-the-internet.1660248/

edit: just clicked the link and I can confirm it's 100% a fake shit SEO page. It will be updated throughout 2024, magically become 2025 etc.

Maybe they are not fans of burn-in.

Why give a shit over an issue that
1) Doesn't exist outside super extreme fringe cases
2) Even if it does exist you can simply just put in a new OLED panel and get another 10,000 hours or whatever out of it.
