OK, no problem.

RIP

These names though...
"Her sisters are Fifi Trixibelle Geldof and Pixie Geldof. She also had a younger half-sister, Tiger Lily Hutchence Geldof."

So she has a famous and well liked father but hasn't accomplished anything on her own? Is she like the UK Paris Hilton or is was she more level headed?

Paris has several of her own businesses and products.

Don't know (or care to care) where the conversation is going but 25 is young. That BBC article mentioning her mother's death is... unexpected. RIP.

i'd always heard drug use rumors, which aren't surprising given the scene she often operates in... but considering how her mother died, it would be very tragic. and she has kids, too :/

drugs or suicide or both combined. i feel really mixed about this because on one hand she was a vapid rich girl, but on the other she had a dysfunctional childhood and had turned everywhere for relief (like her brief scientology stint).

it's also kinda weird because i found her personal facebook page because the father of one (or both?) of her kids was a mutual friend of some people i knew. adds a little personal twinge to this news.

but yeah, rest in peace.

The fact that this person died so young serves as a sobering example of how fleeting life is, regardless or how affluent or famous you may be. It should be an impetus to be better toward one another, not worse.

.

What do you know of how vapid she is? Just because someone doesn't contribute to anything particularly substantial in her public life does not mean you know her or that he or she leads a meaningless life.

I remember when her mom died.

Very sad.

I don't know if having a mom die of heroin would make someone more likely to stay away from drugs, or more likely to partake.

What the fuck.

Probably prescription drugs. If you're rich, it's really easy to find a doctor (or multiple) willing to prescribe you whatever you want (not need).

I'm guessing drug OD.

What's more incongruous about all this is how the media is keeping silent on cause of death.

It's like they're happy to forget about those details. They should say "cause of death unknown at this moment". At least.

Not really, news is still breaking now. Most of the articles covering this have quoted Kent Police and what they themselves have said.

"At this stage, the death is being treated as an unexplained sudden death. Officers are working to establish the circumstances around the death."

Fuck.

And I didn't even know her mother was dead. I used to watch Paula Yates on TV; Big Breakfast and the Tube.

Bob is always talking about Peaches. Damn that's sad news.

Poor old Bob and family.

Yeah, it sucks. Here's part of his statement on her death:

"Writing 'was' destroys me afresh. She was the wildest, funniest, cleverest, wittiest and the most bonkers of all of us. What a beautiful child. How is this possible that we will not see her again? How is that bearable? We loved her and will cherish her forever. How sad that sentence is."

Oh my god. That's heartbreaking.

She was a writer and TV presenter, yes, probably because she's the daughter of a famous TV presenter, and a famous musician, but it's not like she herself wasn't a celebrity.

Yeah. Look, I remember rolling my eyes at a pretty insipid TV documentary about her a few years ago, but she would have been 19-20 when it was made, and had clearly had a pretty eventful and traumatic life up until that point. It seems to me that she retreated somewhat, grew up and clearly loved her kids enormously. Whatever the cause of her death, I find it tragic and even if it is drug related or suicide, I would never deign to judge her for that. You can be a wonderful parent, partner, friend or whatever, but not everyone can overcome their own mind. It can be a tremendous vicious and fragile thing. I think it is a desperately sad situation.

Her last tweet was of her and her mum that's why the bbc mentioned Paula Yates.

RIP, 25 is far too young for anyone especially a mother. Heart goes out to those kids.

I hope it wasn't drugs. Sometimes freak accidents happen or your body attacks itself. ie. aneurism, heart attack, stroke. Either way, I wish her babies the best. No one should have to lose their mother so suddenly. RIP pretty lady.

I hope you enjoyed your life and felt it was a life worth living. My condolences to your family.

Rest in peace.

Overdose is totally possibility. She's been known to have taken heroine before (4 years ago), there's a reddit member that explained his night with her, including photographic proof.

I won't link it as it's explicit.

Can you PM me the link?

Is very sad for Bob and his family in general.

Regardless of reasons, she was so young and had so much potential that will now forever be lost. I'm the same age as her, and I sure would not want to be bowing out right now.

Even sadder that now 2 children have had their mother forever taken away from them, considering her life seemed to revolve around them (if the twitter is anything to go by) : (

I don't know any of these persons, but looking at the Instagram picture and reading the father's words is heartbreaking.

May she rest in peace.
