Reminds me that Nick Tarabay needs more work. I see he's on Believe, but it doesn't look like the show is doing so hot...
Edit: Damn, it's already in the shit bin.
He'll probably play R'as al-Ghul in Arrow.
Believe

so will the 2nd ep air tonight as well? :3
I liked it. Will watch with great interest.
Well, that was goddamn awesome. I can't wait to watch the remaining seven episodes.
Wow, that's it? Premium channels must spend a ton of money on each episode these days.
Show does look very expensive. Even by premium cable standards.
That and I almost threw up in my mouth when they showed his hairy ass on screen.
It should be up on Showtime's on demand service, yeah.
Personally I hope the show sticks with 8 episodes. No room for filler, the show and story would need to remain focused and lean. I'd rather have that kind of pacingIf renewed, hopefully we'll get a 13-episode second season. 8 just isn't enough when you're talking once a year.
So GAF's opinion is give this a chance? I'm thinking about watching the first episode tonight.

I never heard of this, but if it has Eva Green I'm in.
From three-time Oscar® nominee John Logan, the SHOWTIME drama series PENNY DREADFUL debuted to 1.443 million viewers last night, besting the series premieres of recent network dramas HOMELAND and MASTERS OF SEX by five percent (both delivered 1.38 million) in their first seasons. The series premiere of PENNY DREADFUL drew 872,000 at 10 p.m.
PENNY DREADFUL, which debuted to wide critical acclaim, was sampled across SHOWTIME ON DEMAND® and SHOWTIME ANYTIME® in the two weeks leading up to its premiere last night. Within that time period an additional 900,000 SHOWTIME subscribers sampled the series, bringing the PENNY DREADFUL series premiere total to 2.3 million viewers.
62 percent of the PENNY DREADFUL premiere audience last night was aged 18-49. That is the youngest-skewing audience for a SHOWTIME drama since Dexters series premiere in 2006 with 65 percent.
The series premiere was also offered across multiple platforms including YouTube, the SHOWTIME website, via a number of television providers' websites, on the SHOWTIME Preview app on Smart TVs, as well as for download as a free video podcast on iTunes. Additional online sampling data will be available in the upcoming weeks for those platforms though early data shows that over 500,000 non-SHOWTIME viewers have sampled the series to-date.

Episode 2 that ending
i would like Eva Green to rape me
and does everyone know if ep 3 will be up early next week too?
Am i only one who thinks everyone in this show except for Hartnett, Green and Dalton overacting? Also, i wish it would not take itself so seriously and be more like Victorian Torchwood
So yeah, there is your gateway drug.So this is watchable? Although would have watched it for Eva Green anyway![]()
agreed i read that my reaction was basically, so remove the horror, add whimsical humorI just threw up.

Just thought of this (Episode 2 spoilers)
Could the killer be Frankenstein's monster? It's strong enough to rip someone in half and going after women could tie in with its desire to have a female companion like in the book. And having Victor team up with Malcolm and co. to stop his monster from killing could be interesting
